I am a medium and tan-skinned female who adores this product. I tend to mainly use Asian brands of SPF due to their beneficial skin properties and higher SPF factor. I believe that all people should AT LEAST use products with an SPF of 30/35. Furthermore, I disagree with brands like Neutrogena that absurdly raise the price for products with SPF of 100. After a certain number, they all do the same thing.Moving on the actual product, this sunscreen does not leave behind a white residue. Furthermore, it comes out creamy, smooth, and moisturizing (but not overly so). I have oily-combination skin with an oily t-zone and normal cheeks. As a result, I just tend to blot my t-zone throughout the day or just set it with powder. This product also serves as an excellent base for makeup on top. I have personally rotated through a decent amount of sunscreens, but this is one of the few that I intend on repurchasing.Note: Disregard the whitening aspect. In Asian culture, this does not mean the same as bleaching. It just refers to the sunscreen's aspects of evening skin tone and texture to create a brighter and "whiter" complexion.

I have been using this product for months now. It quickly became my everyday sunscreen and for the price you actually get ALOT of product. I Liberally apply this to my face every day and it's very light-weight, hydrating, and comfortable to wear. And no white cast what so ever! sits very well under makeup, no pilling if you use face oils in your skincare regimen and most importantly, if you have sensitive acne-prone skin, it DOES NOT irritate your skin! It kind of has a satin/matte finish and is not drying. There's also a mild scent to the product that does not linger and is non-irritating to sensitive skin so I highly recommend this sunscreen if you're looking for a good affordable one.

A little background: I use Korean Beauty products, First Treatment Essence, Toner, serum, and then sunscreen.If you have dry, dark, and/or sensitive skin, this product is not for you. First of all, the fragrance is a little overwhelming and I personally associate strong fragrances with possible skin irritants. Secondly, I've tried other sunscreens like Neogen's and Leader's and they have kept my skin hydrated throughout the day. This doesn't. By the end of the day I felt my skin a little parched and needing extra moisture. Thirdly, there is slight white cast. I have fair-ish skin and this is fine on me, but like the other brands I've described this has more whiteness in it. However, unlike other sunscreens I've tried that had white cast, Myconos's formulation "beautifies" my fair-ish skin so I don't have much complaints about that. I'd say my favorite thing about this sunscreen is that it makes a great base for make up. Seriously, my skin looks more even-toned with it because of the beautifying white cast. I cannot say how this would look on someone with darker skin, unless they purposely wanted to have a whiter face. I won't be buying this again though, because my HG sunscreen is Leaders (which I can't find anywhere anymore, noooo) and Myconos just doesn't compare. Leaders's sunscreen has amazing ingredients and treats my redness. My skin looks more hydrated and plump and the scent is very natural and calming. On the other hand, Myconos scent smells too strong and it masks the redness with the white cast.Overall, this isn't a bad sunscreen. It's just not what I am looking for. If you don't have dry and sensitive skin, then by all means try this! It might just be your favorite.

Love this sunscreen! It's light and smells nice. It does leave a little bit of a sheen on your face but it's not heavy/greasy like the stuff you find at your local drugstore. There's no white cast but if used over time it does have a whitening effect, just as stated on the bottle. I was using this for my face and a different one for my neck and noticed my face actually whitening more than my neck area over a few months time so that's something to keep in mind.

I finally found a perfect sunscreen for oily skin. Myconos Mild Perfecter Sun Cream SPF 50 is great! I brought my first tube a few months ago and wanted to try it out before posting a review. A small pea-sizes amount is all I need to cover my face. When the cream absorbs into my skin, it feels comfortable and dry. In fact, it lasts on my face all day without feeling greasy at the end of the day. Haven't gotten sunburnt on my face since using this. I have also noticed my sun-spots on my face have lightened up a bit. I think whatever this "whitening agent" is, it really works to lighten imperfections on my face. At the end of the day, after washing my face, I have also noticed a softer and smoother complexion. I am a real believer with this product! Hope Amazon keeps selling it because I can't find it sold anywhere else. Please keep selling this! Love this product!

I'm finding this is rather greasy on my face. My face is typically very dry, so it's not my skin producing the oil. I'm sad because I really wanted to like this. I love that it's a high SPF (50), smells light and fresh and I like the more balanced appearance it gives and it does seem to lighten my skin which I like. These positive effects last maybe an hour or 2, then are replaced by a greasy looking appearance. As it is summer currently, I'll continue to use because of the high SPF, but I don't see myself re-ordering this again, unfortunately.Update - 8/13/18: I'm down-rating this, unfortunately. I hadn't reported this previously because I wasn't sure that it was this product causing the reaction but in addition to what I reported above, this item makes my face itchy. I get this reaction with products that I put on my face that I'm allergic to. There's something in this that is making me want to scratch my face off. Tragically, I had to throw my purchase in the garbage. I'm very sad about this because I LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS CREAM, but not the reality. It was terrible for me.
