seem to work oK
put in my water heater pan to warn me if water heater starts to leak. Tested in a cup of water. They start chirping as soon as the water is about an eight of an inch up on the sensor. Don't know about battery life..

Loud as it should be
Neat little alert devices. Price was right and easy to install. Not sure on the battery life as these were just purchased but looking forward to seeing how these little guys work out. Installed them in the basement and plenty loud enough to get your attention. For the price, hard to beat.

Loud but cheap in appearance
Its appearance is like a cheap plastic, but make a big sound and works upon contact. I can't comment on Its durability. Note this is not smart, so you cannot monitor it on your phone
