Botan Rice Candy for 6 Packs

Ordered the Botan Rice Candy 6 Pack. Haven’t had these snacks in a very long time. Brings back memories. Tastes the same. Would recommend. Click images. 😁

My grandfather was 100% Filipino and when he moved to the US and at 16 and eventually had a family and then us grandkids my parents moved us from FL to MI where he would take us out to dinner at a Chinese restaurant that used to sell these and he’d always buy some for us and I remember them being really fun to eat. When I recently found these on Amazon and gave them a try, they are just as I remember. They don’t really have much flavor, it’s the wrapper that makes them so interesting to eat, they’re def worth trying if you haven’t already. The pack of 6 that we received was perfectly fresh and didn’t last long. The outcome of sharing with my 2 grown children and my grandson is that they loved them too! I’m ready to buy more!

Way cheaper than buying singles from stores. Only thing is that sometimes they’re soft and sometimes they’re hard.

I put these candies in my daughters stocking every year. I usually buy them locally but they were no where to be found. I purchased these, they came fast. So thrilled with my order!!!

I think it tastes gross

Just recently ordered the six pack package of the Botan Rice Candy. They tasted great and brought back lots of childhood memories. When we were kids, my sister and I would go to a specialty store that sold items from Japan and China. They also sold the Botan Rice Candy. Just like years ago, when you remove the outer protective wrapper, the inner wrapper around the candy melts in your mouth. Enjoy!

I loved these as a kid and told my kids about them. We found them here and ordered. What a disappointment. They looked the same as I remember but they were hard and stale. My kids are just going to have to take my word for it that they were a great candy and you could eat the rice paper.
