Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway, Spencer

This Thomas toy was a gift for my son. He loves the wooden trains and tracks and this Spencer toy is very durable.

A couple years ago, my son developed an obsession with the trains from Thomas and Friends. His first one, of course, was the wooden Thomas train and he liked him so much that we decided to continue with that series. Every Christmas, birthday and other times throughout the year, he's been getting new trains. When I asked him last year what trains he wanted for Christmas, he said Spencer since he didn't have him.This Spencer train is part of the wooden train set and we are very happy with them all! Spencer comes with both his engine and a tender and they connect by the magnets that are located on both the fronts and backs of the engine and tender. As in the show, he is painted silver and the details look very similar. There is some plastic on him but we've had him since Christmas last year and he's still in good shape. Together, this train measures 6 3/4 inches long, 1 1/4 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches high. The engine measures 4 1/4 inches long and the tender measures about 2 1/2 inches long. There are plastic wheels on both pieces and the engine has two sets of wheels that move independently so the train can easily make turns on the tracks. This train is made in China and the name "Spencer" appears underneath the engine and his tender is labeled as well, which makes it much easier to keep track of the names! Please note, this engine does not require batteries nor does it make any sounds or light up.My son loves his trains and was delighted to find Spencer under the tree last Christmas! He's well-made and works nicely with his other wooden trains. We own the  KidKraft Waterfall Mountain Train Set and Table  and all of these wooden trains work well with those tracks. Spencer has a couple of paint chips but he gets used a lot so I figure that's normal. All of the wooden trains we own are still in great shape. If you are looking for a good gift for your Thomas fan, I highly recommend the wooden trains. They are durable and provide my twins with hours of entertainment. Y con sus imanes podrás unirlo a cualquier otro vagón o vehículo, tanto de Thomas como de otras marcas de trenes imantados.Como todos los trenes de Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway que hemos adquirido, es de una gran calidad y aguanta estupendamente el trote que le da nuestro hijo.

2歳の息子がトーマス好きで集めています。スペンサーは、その鬱陶しいキャラクターに最初は「何、こいつ？」と思っていたんですが、この上から目線の顔や、ナルシストな割によく失敗したりして「あーこういうヤツいるいる」っぷりにいつしか気になる存在になっていました。という事で、息子は別にスペンサー好きでもなんでもないですが、私がスペンサー好きになっちゃったので購入。ズッシリと高級感を感じる重み、しっかりした塗り、この上から目線の顔、全てテレビで見るスペンサーの通りです。この長めのボディも握りやすく、子供もよく色んな電車とつなげて遊んでいます。
