Inaccurate readings
I bought this as an extra glucose meter. I have 2 much earlier models of this - G6 versions. The 2 G6 meters provide accurate enough readings although one is slightly higher than the other - only about 10 points. This morning, I tested my fasting glucose on my 2 old meters, 88 and 95. Good to go in the a.m. Then I tested on the new G10 = 232? What? Same drop of blood, seconds later. This can't be right. Washed hands again, tested a second time and it readings 238. According to the instructions, there should have been a control solution to use on check strip. No solution: maybe that's the problem. Check strip alone said meter was fine. Hmmm. I've checked their website and can't find any control solution - will have to call when I get a chance. For now, I can't trust the reading from the G10. I'll post an update if I can get my hands on the control solution.

NFC does not work properly.
Pro: The meter seems accurate but not sure. I love the extra lancets and stripes provided with the price.Con: Connection with NFC occasionally succeeds but most of times it doesn’t..The data does not synchronize with apple health apps. I don’t find control solutions with the package.

Defective. Customer Service is useless.
I bought the meter in June and recently it started giving false readings. So low that I I had to go to my doctor to check my glucose reading which turned out was normal. I brought the Curofit meter with me to the doctors to compare to theirs and indeed the Curofit was way off. The Curofit meter said 60mg/dL while the doctors said 104mg/dL. I had fasted overnight. I called Curofit and they told me the reading of 60mg/dL which is showed earlier in the morning was normal even though my normal readings were in the 90-105 mg/dL range. The rep actually said the meter can be 30 points off and still be functioning correctly. If you look online a reading of 60 mg/dL should be an immediate trip to the doctor which is what I did. They refused to replace the meter even though its 4 months old. The NFC also has a hard time connecting to my newish iPhone and was always a struggle. The charts and data are sparse. I wound up buying a Contour Next to replace it. The readings are accurate. It connects easily through bluetooth and the data and charts tell you pretty much anything you'd want to know about your glucose level. I called their customer service with a question and they were super helpful. Save your money and buy a reliable brand with good customer service and stay away from Curofit. The strips might be a lot cheaper but the design and the product are unreliable, poorly designed and the customer service useless. One last thing. I've since found out after doing further research that one can test the meter by using a control solution which they never mentioned or offered to send which means the meter might be ok and the strips which came with the meter which were still before the expiration date might in fact be bad and giving the false readings. Again never explained to me by the customer rep. Research the meter before you buy this important testing device or like myself you might windup with a frantic trip to the doctor to only find you wasted time and money to find out you bought a bad product.

Super easy
I will start by saying I am not diabetic. I got this to give myself an idea of what different foods and different exercises did to my blood sugar. It is super easy to use and replacement lancets and reading strips were one of the most affordable. From what I can tell it is pretty accurate.

Unreliable
I had high hopes for this, being newly diagnosed with prediabetes. However the readings are crazy-today I tested 290. I repeated it and it was 209. Now I wish I’d spent more.
