Powerful music reproduction.
This was a replacement for the exact same model which stopped playing CDrs. Though I love vinyl in some ways this sounds even better : clearer, more detail and more depth. Just lacking vinyls warmth. Importantly for me it also plays MP3s, USB stick and CDrs so I can test recordings I'm working on on home system rather than a studio one. Price reduction as I think there's a newer model out now.

Superb CD player: makes all my old CDs sound better!
I bought this new CD6007 to replace an old Marantz CD65, which I have owned for 36 years, but had started to give random bursts of digital static. I wanted to replace it with a comparable modern player. The CD6007 seemed to be the one to get in my price range. When I unpacked it I was pleased by the weight of the player and its design. However, it is the results that matter. I was amazed to hear extra instruments, extra backing vocals and clearer sound on every CD I put in the new player. I have also played various files from USB (FLAC, ALAC, MP3) and they all sound excellent. I am very pleased with the CD6007 and am slowly working through my CDs listening to them again, as if for the first time!
