SUZARU 8" Professional Chef's Ceramic Kitchen Knife Set

Own a few different size ceramic knives, all of which are white as any standard ceramic knife. Over time and kitchen use, they will have chips on it's edge, nature of ceramic. They are sharp as you could expect from this type of knives. But this one..... Ohhhh, this one.... Other than being sharp..... makes me smile while using and working the kitchen. This thing is beautiful!!! Never thought I'd have a personal knife but, I don't allow anyone else in our household to use it other than myself,..... OK, maybe the wife is an exception....but I find this thing so sexy... tuck it, I'm hiding it like a mistress! Sorry but the titanium mirror like finish of this knife brings out that mixed emotion inside me like when you finally got your dream sports car with mirror-finish tints.....then handing the keys to your wife for her to use.... You question yourself..... It is an 8" chef knife so it's great for cutting and dicing veggies, not ideal for meat specially separating meat from bone. Please note this chef knife is a little narrower at the hill so if you have big hands like I do and handles a chef's knife with a "grip" , the rolling technique of cutting may be awkward.I pinch the knife by its bolster when handling.... the awkwardness goes away.... and I'm smiling again. - p. If you're using someone else's money, go for it.

The knife looks very nice, but I truly thought it would be sharper. The first time I used it was nice, that next day I used it to slice baby tomatoes and it cut as easily as I would expect. Knife is okay, but I would prefer to slice tomatoes easier.

This is dangerous. A chunk of the knife broke off in the food..safe your money and life and buy a better knife.

Very nice knife, quite sharp! I really appreciate sharp knives in my kitchen.Slicing is always better than hacking.

Rather expensive for a ceramic knife. But it looks and works fine.

Bought as a gift for a friend last Christmas...just learned a chunk of the blade broke off while he was chopping nuts only a month after I gave it too him. Don't waste your money on this knife.
