Just fit perfect

This arrived quicker than I expected. It is replacing the original bottom bin on my fridge door, which suffered a broken clip after about 3 years. When I first tried to install it, the product didn't seem wide enough to clip in properly. However, after lining everything up and applying a little pressure to snap the clips in place, it fit fine. The color is ever so slightly different, and it looks like the floor of the bin has a different pattern, so it is not an exact match. But nobody is ever going to notice.

This is not or at least does not feel like an OEM replacement as it was billed. It is more flimsy than the original and took a little bit of pushing to get into place. It was still a better deal than ordering straight from Kenmore even if I have to buy a second one if this breaks.The color is perfect. I'm a little afraid to test the weight, so we just moved things around in the fridge to put lighter things on the bottom. Good overall value for what it is.

These shelves are advertised as "exact replacements". They are not as I had to carefully bend the plastic "tabs" outward to go over the "nubs" they are supposed to attach to. As they are plastic I was concerned about them snapping off when I did this. I had to try each shelf in each location to find the "best fit" as they did not both fit the same. Eventually I did get them on but the bottom shelf is still not fully "seated" as it should be.

Unfortunately with 4 kid that like to help clean up after dinner it was only a matter of time until they over stuffed and broke the shelf in fridge. Luckily this was available for far less than I thought it would be. Initially did not seem like it would fit, but the notch has to fall in a groove on each side and it slides right down.

This isn't a bad piece of hardware for the cost. That having been said the brand name one is only about $8.00 more - but I like to save where I can.The measurements are not exactly to spec with the Frigidaire model ones but they are close enough. I'd be more careful and put less weight on this shelf. That way it won't be as prone to breakage. (One of the shelves on the freezer side broke, too.)Glad we fixed this ASAP! It's true that every little bit of space helps in these fridges.

The negative reviews are probably from people that did not get this installed correctly. If You just slide it on the door it will not work correctly. You must align the tabs of the shelf between the bumps on the door just right, then it requires a bit of pressure downward to seat them right. Done correctly I have no issue with 9 of the 12 oz beverage cans in each of these shelves.

Bought this to replace a clear shelf which broke Christmas Day. We have an old Frigidaire/Electrolux model #LGHS2634KE0 and took a chance that this would fit. GLAD I did!! Has a more snug fit than the original, so is MORE SECURE than the original! Material seems sturdier as well. We ordered it Christmas Day, and it arrived within 2 days. We are very happy with the purchase!
