I bought this for shredding cheese and such. It’s super easy to use, put together, take apart and clean. Suctions onto my counter top brilliantly. I love this new addition to my kitchen.

To think I spent years buying pre shredded cheese. When we started shredding our own cheese using a regular old shredder, my husband and I would argue over it, especially hard cheeses like Parmesan (he grated his nail once and hated it since, ouch!). This tool is very easy to use. I’ve had this for about a month or two and we use it nearly every day. We have 4 kids so cheese is basically a staple for feeding picky eater kids!Pros:- Shredding cheese is very quick and the handle is so easy to turn. It’s my toddlers job to shred the cheese while we cook and he loves it. Great way to bond with your kiddos.- The tool comes apart so it takes up less space when storing it.- It works well with both hard cheese like Parmesan and soft cheese like mozzarella. Pro tip - do not press hard to push the cheese into the shredded. Cheese is thicker the harder your press! For finely shredded cheese, just put enough pressure to keep the cheese in place.- Shredded veggies easily. I have a bearded dragon and the girl eats better than me with fresh daily salads. I use to have to hand chop all her veggies. Things like carrots and zucchini were a pain to get in small enough pieces. Now I can do it in literally seconds and my lizard is happy and healthy!- It seals really well to the counter so it doesn’t move around while shredding.Cons:- Parm is more shredded than grated. It won’t be super fine like it would be if you used an actual grater. I do t think it affects my cooking though!- Kind of a pain to store. Would be great if it came with a case or something to keep all the attachments.- The plastic isn’t dishwasher safe. We put ours in the dishwasher warped the clear plastic a bit but it still works fine.- Cleaning the grater isn’t my favorite job but that is normal for all graters.Overall 5 stars. Affordable tool that is easy to use, multifunctional, and will be used daily. Don’t waste money on preshredded cheese or spend the time manually grating cheese. This is a great tool!!

I usually don't write reviews, however, this cheese grater is amazing and I just wanted to share my views. It was delivered on time and the packaging is very durable. The grater itself is very sturdy thick plastic unlike some which are thin and flimsy. There are clear instructions and it is easy to assemble and take apart. The grater drums are very sturdy and sharp. All parts are washable (except the base). It also secures firmly to my counter top, which others have not. And, the handle turns easily. It took 7-8 seconds to grate a half block of cheddar beautifully.....and no scraped knuckles. I highly recommend this grater.
