Nine Inches
This wire is nine inches - one end goes straight into the connection, the other is bent at 90 degrees. I wish both of them were 90 degrees as the wire coming straight up from the mobo can get in the way of the video card or whatever is above the SATA connections. Plugging the straight end in to the drive, eh! Wire Sticking out and up.. Great Price if they work for you.

Good cable-Saved Build
Built a media center box with a MicroATX motherboard with SATA connectors mounted horizontally to the plane of the motherboard at the rear. This left very little clearance at the back for a straight on cable and most right-angle connectors would go down. These saved the day with an upward plug direction and fit in the small clearance at the back. These cables were just what was needed to finish the build.

Great for low mounted drives
Tl;drPros: great for certain tight builds, short to decrease exposure.Cos: if used in a more spacious build, the shortness will cause you to wire ove the motherboardCons: They are red, throws off my color scheme, but I'll see what I can do about that later.I understand that the cables are designed backwards, but that is what makes them great for my particular build. You see in the image when a drive is mounted low or in a position that would expose more cable over the motherboard, these can be used to route away from the motherboard to make it less visible, and from a lower drive to the sata port. No connection issues, and great for an ATX motherboard in a mid tower case.

Good 270-degree cables
I got these cables in order to populate two "upside down" SATA ports at the bottom corner of my motherboard. The ports are right above a cable routing hole in my case (Fractal Define 7), so the cables are basically unnoticeable when looking through the case window. I had been using some 8.5" 270-degree cables I pulled from old Dell workstations but those were just barely long enough to reach without any slack. These cables are about 9.6" so they have enough slack that I don't have to worry about putting any stress/torsion on the ports, without being so long that I have to deal with excess cable management.

Work well, but be sure what you need.
I bought these to go from the mother board to a set of hard drive that was going to make up a software raid array. (I went hardware raid instead, so did not use them for the intended purpose.) I bought them short to keep clutter down the case. But this limits my ability to repurpose them. Also, while the 90 degree is slick and allows for nice routing, when I attempted to repurpose, it caused clearance issues.I will probably order a pack of 12 or 18 inch straight SATA cables to have on hand. They work great and are not too expensive.

The plugs are "backwards" - making them impossible to connect for certain situations (Jonsbo caset)
So I had 90 degree SATA cables - leftovers from years of motherboards. Needed a few more and preferred them to be shorter for a NAS / ITX build so I bought these. What a mistake! These plugs are reversed compared to every other motherboard SATA cable I own. DO NOT BUY! They literally would not plug in because the Jonsbo case manufacturer assumed the cable would be angled upwards.

Never thought SATA cables could be backwards
I guess I should have paid better attention to the other reviews. The 90 degree bend connection on these cables is backwards. This means that you can't have a nice, smooth, strait line between your motherboard and drive. Instead you'll have kind of a loop where the cable has to go up before it goes down. This loop actually steals at least an inch of length from the cable which means there are 2 drive mounts in my Core 500 I can't reach. I do like that these cables don't have a clip since I bought them for a mini-ITX build and the little clips can be hard to to in the tight space between my mother board and power supply. Photos to follow. Still debating if the return process is worth it for $6 dollar cables.
