Functional and Decorative
Cute little pot. I seriously bought it to hold onions so they would stop shedding all over my pantry shelves and floors. Onion skins are so dang annoying to clean up!I also read somewhere that air flow and darkness were the most important thing for storing onions, so this adorable thing should do just fine. It will fit one small mesh bag (about 6 medium, 8 small) onions.Only nit-pick is the lid doesn't fit snugly and I'm worried it will get knocked loose somehow.However, the walls of the pot are pretty thick and it is heavy enough when empty to withstand an accidental bump without toppling. The glaze is a shade darker than the picture (it is not unfinished terra cotta and the color difference is noticeable next to my garlic pot).

Unusual onion storage
This stoneware canister was perfectly packaged to prevent damage. The addition to my granite countertops was unusual and quite nice. It will only hold about six small onions.

I love it!
This is a great little pot that will hold about 1 lb. of onions. It keeps your onions in a dark place while allowing them to be close at hand while cooking. It looks great in the kitchen, too. I'm planning on ordering another one for a housewarming gift for a friend!

Absolutely thrilled
I am in love with this product. I was so pleasantly surprised at the safety and security in which the product was delivered to my home, the fact that the shipper took so much care to emphasize a safe delivery really made me a reliable customer, Not to mention the craftsmanship put into the product itself. Very unique peice.
This is berry quality. When I opened it, it was concealed in packing peanuts, under that was 5 layers of bubble wrap and 2 layers of brown paper. It is very unique and obviously handmade. It seems to keep my onions fresh, but most of all it stops me from buying too many onions at once because it can only hold 5 or 6 medium onions. This is a very awesome peice if kitchen art. Would recommend

Decorative onion storage container
This little container is adorable! It's very well made and is the perfect size for onion storage. It is a touch darker color than the picture, but still very cute. It provides the dark atmosphere suggested for onion storage, and has holes to let air circulate.I went ahead and bought the garlic container, and if the potato container wasn't out of stock, I'd buy it, too!
