Excellent for a small space; workspace on the outside of a shed (larger brackets) etc. Easy to drop and raise the brackets.TIPS: I attached the bracket to the shelf first. The bracket part that goes against the wall has very little wiggle room, if the bracket is a little off (1/6") the shelf won't drop all the way down as the top part of the bracket can bind as it is dropped down. You will need a long drill bit to access the top screw holes under the shelf, start there, mark, pre-drill align and screw, drop the shelf and then slowly raise making sure the wall bracket doesn't move; pre-drill and put the bottom screw in. Test the shelf, I found the lower screws were the issue if they were slightly off.Make sure you space the brackets so they are both comfortably within arms reach to press both release levers at the same time.I also used Robertson screws instead of the screws provided & it sure helps if you have an assistant.Now my brother wants them for his boat!

One piece in package was open and used.
This my second time bought such product with different source, results remain same. One piece unopen and other sealed package. Filled with white powder stuff all across product. Screws pack was also open and loose screws all across in box.In its installation the open piece was not closing properly, after investigating I found spring rivet length was too long and causing folding problem.No time to return, just repaired and resolved myself. Very very troubled product. They might mix returned product one piece each box, won't recommend.

Sharp Edges, But Fairly Sturdy
The edges of the metal they used to make these are a little sharp and can be painful to bash a finger against when trying to find the release levers without looking, but they're fairly sturdy and seem to hold their angle well. Using an IKEA tabletop and placing a battery on it results in the battery staying rather than roll off, so the angle of the brackets is well considered for my use case. Good overall, but could be a little more polished.

Not very sturdy
Do the job of supporting 16 inch shelfs in garage but not sturdy as expected (considering that it was described as designed to be used for foldable table top)

Used to build floating table
Holds a lot at least 20/30lbsOnly downside for larger screws won't fit into the pre cut metal whole which os standard width when I would rather larger for better dry wall security other then that ot did the job! Great product
