Nice piece

I put together in no time but when I put it in my sons room it was very unstable I will get something to balance it out other than that is a nice piece easy to put together and you don’t need anyone to do it with you!

We really like the look of this 5-tier bookcase, and we love the sea foam color. But let's talk assembly:The 'easy' directions weren't necessarily as easy as the company made it out to be. Yes, they showed where each screw/bolt/dowel was to go, but the pictures/words are VERY unclear as to the position of some of the shelf pieces. After disassembling certain sections of the 5-tier case a time or two, we finally managed to get it put together properly. It does look nice and will go well with our decor scheme.HOWEVER, after having the shelf/case in our home for two days, the strong chemical smell still has not dissipated and gives everyone in the home a roaring headache. We are hopeful that the smell will go away soon. If we would have known how severe the chemicals in this unit would reek, we never would have purchased it to begin with no matter how perfect it is for our space. (Whatever happened to the days of furniture being made out of wood instead of all of this man-made, chemically guar??)So, for looks and sturdiness, we give this a solid 5-star rating. Assembly should get a 3 1/2 star rating. Odor of the product, a negative 1 star rating, or lower.If the chemical smell dissipates, I'll update my review. Easy to build more or less. Some screws a bit fiddly. One person assembly. Does what I got it for.HOWEVER, it smells weird.Had a smell in the room and couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. Until I got up close and smelt the wood. Can’t describe the smell. Just not particularly pleasant. Lingering weird smell. Not chemical. Just weird. Have had to move it outside and hope the air will get rid of it.Hoping it dissipates soon as if it doesn’t it will live in the garage!

The instructions were confusing as many reviewers stated, but not impossible. The shelves were heavy, and the unit seems to be quite sturdy. Heaviest items are on the bottom and weight is kept to the back of the shelves. I would not recommend setting anything on top of the unit. Personally, I have not anchored the unit because I put in the corner next to my bed and put my nightstand in front of it. Seafoam is softer than it looks online and is very complimentary to my green walls.

Easy to assemble once I figure out which way the parts went. For the money, this isn’t a bad corner shelf. I like that you can place something on top and use that as an additional space. Especially since I pictured it being taller than it is(even though I had the measurements beforehand). All in all I like it.

This is a great corner bookshelf that looks very nice and is a pretty good value for the money. Target sells the same exact bookshelf and it was over 50$ more expensive than on Amazon. Despite some of the negative reviews I decided to chance it and I'm glad I did. The bookshelf arrived with no cracks or serious damage. There was only a very minor problem with the finish on the inside of one of the shelves. Since this wouldn't be seen I decided to keep it. All the parts were organized with labels and no parts were missing. It wasn't too difficult to put together but the picture details in the directions were sometimes hard to see. I ended up just putting it together without the directions and its pretty self explanatory. It was sturdy once put together but it should be wall mounted. This is tricky because if you have trim on your floor the mounts that are included won't work. I know you can buy mounts that extend from the wall but I just simply mounted one to the upper back of the bookshelf and one to the wall and connected them with a ziptie. It works and no one will ever see it behind the shelf. Once mounted I could load it up with books and it wasn't going anywhere. It looks great and I would definitely buy it again! Great space saving solution for a corner and helps to fill in the blank space.

Package showed up completely destroyed. The whole package was held together with tape. Even delivery guy was concerned. There were a couple of chips in the shelves BUT once put together you could not see the damage. Rather than go through a return hassle we decided to live with it.Good feedback it fits perfectly in the corner and was very easy to put together. Very sturdy. Perfect in our living room. 3 stars are for the delivery of a damaged product

i love it

Not safe if not secured to wall with attachments provided. Too many heavy books or objects, it will fall! Ensure it’s secured to wall. Doesn’t fit against wall with floor trims (3/4 rounds)that stick out from the wall too much and if your walls aren’t even it doesn’t look great as not flush to wall. Looks nice but regret buying.

I love my shelf. It’s strong and sturdy as I was hoping for. It looks classy. I use it to hold all my towels on in my hair salon.
