Bloomingville Paulownia Wood Perpetual Calendar

Very cute month, day of the week & date calendar. Just a bit difficult to change everyday…the 1st few times all the pieces fell out. Then I figured out how to hold the top pieces in & simply change the number cubes.

I got this for our new kitchen classroom and have made changing the calendar part of our morning routine. It's great. Being at home constantly, I found myself losing track of the date. This solved the problem. Perfect addition to our school book shelf in the kitchen.

The wood pieces, long slender, that have month and days on them should be sanded down just a little more so they would fit in there easier - I had to do so to get them to work easier for daily usage. Otherwise very nice and great for a person with memory issues.

This specific perpetual calendar caught my eye as it includes the days of the week, which most perpetual calendars neglect. I was delighted to see that there are blank sides on some of the pieces to maintain a clean, neat appearance. It is well made and easy to read. I don't know how I ever got along before I started using it!

Bigger than I thought. The blocks didn’t fit quite right, there is a space between the numbers. Look ok. Nice color.

I chose this calendar because I've been wanting one of these for some time, but my biggest challenge is remember what day of the week it is. This is one of the only simple block calendars that also had that option. It is simple, unfinished wood, but it's stamped very nicely and all the pieces were included. It is very simple and exactly what I was looking for.

I received all numbers and days of the week. As other reviewers have said, all the parts do not line up PERFECTLY and there is a gap on either side of the numbers. The wooden pieces resemble balsa wood in look as and feel and there is great variation in the grain and color. I like my new calendar but it is a bit "labor intensive" as you must move pretty much every piece to show the correct number and day of the week. All in all, for the price point and my "need" I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Not user friendly. Months and dates weren't well organized so it took searching to coordinate numbers and months instead of turning the block to next month or date.
