Jack Stack BBQ Rub Sampler Gift Pack

I got started using Jack Stack seasonings several years ago and would usually stop in Kansas City or one of the suburbs to pick up more when we would be traveling through. This year with the Covid-19, we didn't travel south, so we had to order it. We use this on nearly everything we grill, from chicken, beef, pork, etc. We have also been grilling vegetables and it's especially good on asparagus, potatoes, green beans, and carrots. Everything we've tried Jack Stack on turns out great! No pantry should be without Jack Stack All Purpose seasoning!!

I got a bottle of this as a gift and I didn’t open it for quite some time. I “found” it in my pantry and opened it. I loved the extra flavor it provides to all sorts of food, not just barbecue. I use it on all meats, veggies, and salads. I was delighted I could buy more online.For those that believe they are sensitive, one of the main ingredients is MSG, which is probably why this is such a flavor enhancer. It is also celery seed forward. Neither is a deterrent for me.

I have dined at Jack Stack and immediately loved their barbecue. Thus my interest inter seasonings. Well, now I'd not be without these products. We grill foods all year and I'd not be without Jack Stack in my grilling repertoire. This stuff is wonderful folks. Your grilled foods will have spectacular flavor.

This seasoner is to die/live for! It has become our all time favorite...and we use it on almost everything. we started using it on corn on the cob and have included almost all other foods as well.... Flavorful, tasty...it is both. Buy this today and use it!

I would give it 6 Stars!! I will never eat a steak with out it. Don’t bother with jack’s actual steak season, the all purpose is better. Been using it for years. don’t be shy with it, put a nice heavy sprinkle on, plastic wrap, at least and hour before grilling. Kind of sucks you are paying double on amazon, but seems how it goes for items like this. my local ace hardware used to sell it up an till last year for $3.50. They changed to the more popular Treager and Home Depot junk.

The label reports that 1/4 teaspoon of this rub contains 220mg of sodium. I haven’t seen another rub with that much sodium and, to my taste, the saltiness overpowers the other flavors. As an initial rub in small quantities, this might be OK, but this is not my choice of a finishing rub.

The finger taste test turned my away right away. I expected it to suck. It doesn't. The flavor works on chicken. The msg is the secret. Hey, chik fil a uses msg, so consider that when you decide to purchase.

This is truly some great stuff for your ribeye. Believe it or not, the first container of Jack Stack I got for free at a US National Guard trade show. A buddy of mine said it was great and he was 100% correct. I have tried 3 different flavors, but the all purpose is the best. Rub it generously onto the ribeye, let it set for 30 minutes, cook it on an open flame (grill) and it is delicious.
