The New Munsell® Student Color Set 3rd Edition

I've been an artist for a long time and bought this book at the suggestion of a friend who said it would help expand my knowledge of color. I'm finding some frustration along the way. The little color chips are not as easy to put in proper order on their respective charts as one would think, and there's no recommendation from Munsell regarding what kind of repositional glue to use to assemble the charts. Blu Tac putty was recommended by an online artist. It seems to be working fine. If you're up to a challenge in color, this is it.

This is a really cool book if you're into design and or are in a design school... Price is really reasonable compared to buying this at your school store.. Really good book and it will come in handy in the future if you're in the design industry.... Bad thing is, you have to put the colors together and glue them in (rubber cement), but I guess that's how you learn! Go and buy this Munsell Color Book! You won't be disappointed! It runs over $100 at some locations!

A rip better of to get the full version done by a guy who did hi def scans for about $80 for thr full muncell. Cheap little color chips that don’t peal off I covered my chips and made them sticky so I could compare.......its for sale if someone wants it.

I bought this book for my intro to interior design class. There is a lot of good information inside. The color charts, though they have to be completed by you, are very handy. I am keeping this book after the semester ends for personal reference.

I am an Artist and self taught and always learning, the one thing that is a need in art is knowing color and this is just the book by the best teacher on color. It can get a little over whelming but if you want to understand color front to back inside and out this is it.

Get the second edition. The colour tabs in this one are ridiculously small!

Great information at a great cost too. The Munsell colour books can cst £700 each, so this is a godsend.

A really good book for getting a basic (and even more) understanding of the Munsell color system. I have used the book as self study, and think the material is good for that as well. There are different excercises for class room eduation, but I never used those...

Absolutely essential read for anybody working with colour. The best resource book I read on colour in my 8 years of working with colour schemes. Highly recommend!

This resource is wonderful to learn more about color. There was a serious problem, however, one set of the color tiles was missing 2 tiles. I emailed the publisher, and the sales company, but did not receive a reply....or receive the tiles.
