soil PH test
Works well enough to test moisture and PH level ...getting better at not overwatering!but one of the meter is breaking up, the silver one

No more over-watering
Moisture readings are very helpful in determining whether a plant or a tree needs water. It helped determine that a newly planted maple tree losing leaves was do to too much water in the ground. The pH factor is good when used with flowers or plants that require acidity in the soil or not.

It simply does not work. It thought my yard was bone dry after a 3 day rain. The needle barely moved when placed in a glass of water when testing moisture. It didn't budge when placed in a glass of Orange Juice when testing PH. And yes, I had the switch in the correct position.Follow up - the manufacturer contacted me to let me know the meter was not designed to test water or OJ. I did not buy the product to test water or OJ, I bought it to test my soil (and it doesn't). I only tried water and OJ to see if the thing could test anything at all. It does a pretty good job of testing my patience... but that's about it.

Worked a few times, then completely stopped. It knows that vinegar is an acid and thatammonia is a base, but outside of that it knows nothing. Definitely not able to help me withsoil moisture level or pH, that's for sure.
