Honestly being on multiple construction sites as a appliance installer. I wanted something very comfortable especially since I’m gonna be carrying a lot of different tools and things around these sites I go to.The helmet itself is different but I think that’s what makes it awesome. As I’m wearing it is very comfortable very sturdy doesn’t feel like they put any cheap crappy parts. I would highly recommend to buy it because not only is it safe and well built but it’s very comfortable and I think it is a game changer far as hard helmets goes. Because I am an appliance installer the nice thing is it has a built-in tinted glass with the one I chose so I don’t have to worry about sawdust and everything else getting all over my face when I’m drilling in the cabinets.Plus like other employer given hard helmets this one has a lot more of a comfortable strap built inside the helmet so it doesn’t feel uncomfortable and clumpy like some other ones might.

The new style hard hats come with built in safety glasses and breathable. Prices dropped slightly, but found them $12 cheaper at Walmart

I like the product for about a week. At this point I need a crescent wrench to loosen or tighten the headband. The concept of the chin strap has been helpful for windy days and moving my head around in small spots but I wouldn't buy this brand again and suggest you all buy a different brand as well

Great low profile helmet. Gives me the ability to stoop, bend, and move how I want without worrying about dropping it. Comfortable, and the air vents are a great feature.

I've been using one of these for a full season of construction surveying now. Just ordered a second one to keep ear pro on. These are lower profile than traditional hard hats, significantly more comfortable, don't get nearly as hot, and stay on.The visor will bump optical equipment in the up position. So, if you need to have head protection while using a total station/theodelite/optical level/etc, get one without the visor. Without the visor, they're just low profile enough to wear correctly while using Leica total stations and levels, with some care. The visor is nice if you're going from outside to inside repeatedly, especially on sunny days. Sunglasses outside, then just remove them and flip the visor down when you go inside. With straps, you'll never have to worry about your hard hat falling off when bent over.The only gripe I have is that the straps have very little adjustment. The only part that's adjustable is the under jaw strap. The cheapest bicycle helmets allow you to adjust the triangle around your ears, but this doesn't. As a result, for my head shape, the straps sit too close to the front of my ears, and the bottom of the triangle sits a little too high. I basically have to wiggle my ears into the triangles. I do have a large head, and big ears, but I've never had a difficult time adjusting bicycle helmets to fit me very well. Maybe that's just the trade off for having a low profile, comfortable buckle.

this is the best helmet on the market for the price. far better than some very expensive helmets. since all helmet manufacturers are stating 5 year lifespan, why not buy 4 of these for the price of one of those? i have been wearing one of these for 5 years and it is very comfortable, easy to adjust and clean. great for tower climbers and rope access work.
