The light is very bright and the beam is pretty focused. My old flashlight always seemed to be out of battery power just when the power goes out. The fact that you can keep it plugged in all the time eliminates that problem. shipping and packaging were fine.

Dad Loved It
I got this for my dad as a gift, not knowing he bought one second hand only a few days prior. Thankfully, the one he got was missing the charger, and only payed a few dollars for it. So, now he has two. Along with the belt holster and wrist strap, I'd give this four stars just because it's not something I'd buy, but dad rates it a five because he uses it every day at work.

10+ years and still bright!
This is the best flashlight I have ever owned. The only improvement I could come up with is glow in the dark markers to make it easier to find in the dark.If you have a place that is easy to get to, near an outlet, I would suggest keeping it there.
