Works with a simple mod in some cases
When I first got this I plugged it in a anet A8+ and worked fine for months. I didn’t print anything for a few months after that and when I started using the printer again I noticed it would do weird things once In awhile like the head moving all the way across the bed for no reason or it would retract the filament all the way out so the prints were only partially done. Even when printed again with the same file the weird things were totally random and didn’t repeat what happened on the first print of that file. I tried the micro sd directly into the printers sd slot and it would print fine so I knew it was this extension. I have some electronics background so I was hoping it was just some interference from some radio waves (RF interference). Maybe some new equipment in the area? This extension is just a pin for pin extension cable so there’s really nothing to fail unless a connection is broken somewhere. I took it apart and everything looked fine. Soldering was fine. I then wrapped the whole cable in aluminum foil to shield it and it’s now working 100% again. My theory on RF interference was correct so if anyone has some weird glitches going on then try wrapping the flat cable in aluminum foil (be careful not to short anything).

These will save your 3d Printer's main board!
I have one of these on each of my 3d printers, and they work so well! The printers have the micro SD card slot on the mainboard / motherboard. Repeated use of the SD card will eventually break the card-holder off of the motherboard.Install this, and you push the adapter in once on your printer, and you never have to mess with it again. The cable is a nice length to remotely mount the SD card holder in a convenient location.

Nicely made, meets my need.
I needed these for a work project quickly, so Amazon saved the day there. These do what they say they do, and the SD slots on them seem fairly robust. I like that they're push-push (meaning push to insert, push to eject). There are just two things I don't like about them, and they're mostly nitpicks:1) The cable is a bit long for my needs. And by a bit, I mean WAY too long. I could've probably been OK with a 1 foot cable.2) The microSD connector side is a bit heavy, so it doesn't always want to stay in. I've only used it with microSD slots that don't really latch (i.e. aren't push-push), so maybe some connectors are better than others for this. Also, if they made the cable shorter (see #1), it'd probably make this problem worse, so I guess for that, I'm thankful for the longer length of cable. These really have saved me loads of time and effort, as the device I'm using them on has a microSD slot that is very inaccessible and requires very small sized cards (i.e. < 1GB) to operate, and smaller microSD cards are becoming more and more of a rarity, but I have a bunch of full size SD cards around, making this very useful.I cracked one open, and it was nice to see decoupling caps and a nicely soldered PCB inside the SD card socket. It seems quite nicely built overall, so I'm pleased to use it.

Works well but not secure in Micro slot
This device works well in my 3D printer, to move the Micro SD card slot to a much more convenient location. The only negative is that the end of the cable that engages with the Micro SD card slot on the mainboard doesn't stay secure once latched in place. It can be pulled out very easily, which will undoubtedly cause read/write problems. I have secured the ribbon cable to prevent easy inadvertent removals with some tape.

Used with Creality CR-10S printer for extended reach.
Ordered this for use with my Creality CR-10S printer. the micro-SD card adapter fits a little lose but that may be the adapter card itself. I will be trying other adapter cards and will update the review after testing a few other adapters from other suppliers. For the most part this is a very good product and seems sturdy enough for its intended use.

Wish it could work better
I have many larger SD cards and figured I'd buy two for the two printers I have. They came in very quickly and we'll packaged, but only 1 of the 2 worked, sadly. The one that works, does its job. I would contact the seller or Amazon for a replacement or refund, but just a couple of dollars so wasn't worth the trouble. You may get lucky and the one you order works or not.

Another works great for my MPSM...
Works great for my Monoprice Select Mini. The cable is long enough that I was able to go under the printer and mounted it on the other side, with a 3D printed mount from Thingiverse. The only issue is that I am not sure I can plug anything into the USB port, as i think this now blocks it. Maybe a right angle micro USB?? But that is a design issue with the MPSM, not this cable. As I'm not using the USB port, it's not an issue for me.. I MUCH prefer using SD cards over the uSD, which are just too small for frequent use...

Poor manufacturing
Having problems that require the item to be returned. I purchased this so that I could use the SD card from my other 3D printer with a new one that utilizes a micro SD card as I prefer the larger SD cards. I printed a mount for this which was put under my controller, this allows me to remove/insert my SD card without having the reach around the side. As others have stated the micro SD end does not lock into the card slot on my 3D printer. It does go in enough to read the SD card but comes out very easily since it is not locked in. The other bigger issue I have with it is that in order to read the SD card after updating the files I have to insert the SD card, remove the micro SD end and then reinsert it into the micro SD slot. If I take the SD card out with the micro SD end in my files still appear in my menu but they cannot be accessed. If I then take the micro SD end out and reinsert it the file menu clears on my controller as it should have when I removed the card. Seems to be some sort of short or there is bad wiring between each end. Going to return ASAP and find another option.

Works well
I have an Ender 3 V2 3D printer and was having problems with the Micro SD cards used to enter data. I wanted to use the bigger SDHC cards. This extension cable came quickly and worked first time. I have had no problems with it.

Works as advertised :)
Bought for Ender 3 pro. Works as advertised. Really useful instead of messing about pushing micro SDs in the printer upside down. Less chance of losing things with the SD size too. Oh last thing.... VERY quick delivery compared to the prediction I got (10+ days early). Top job!

Solved a problem
I am now able to use full size SD cards with my 3D printer.

Works fine. No issues.
Use this to load miniSD cards on my 3D printer more easily. Works fine. No issues. The microSD adapter is nice because it can be locked, or clicked, into the microSD slot like a regular microSD card so there's no worry of it coming loose.
