This messenger was made using the raw edges of the leather hide as it was when it left the tannery it is a very rustic look with a high profile feel to it. We use premium leather from American ranchers sent to American meat packing houses, the cowhides are sent to American tanneries. Most of our leather comes from some of the oldest tanneries in the USA, northeast Minnesota area. Some cows just have more fun than others. You can expect to see the life of a cow in premium leather, healed scars, bug bites, cactus scratches and barbed wire markings. It makes this wonderful leather wear in and not wear out. Each piece will develop a rich patina unique to each user.
