Casio Men's MCW100H Heavy Duty Design Watch

I've only had this watch for less than a day but am loving it already. It's visually stunning to look at and not too heavy on the wrist. I often travel and wanted something very easy to adjust to the different time zones. This watch really fits the bill. I have about four G-Shock watches and without having the instructions nearby, changing the time is a major hassle due to their ana/digital nature. The only issue, or inconvenience of this watch is changing the time. The way the lugs that protect the crown are designed, it's very hard to turn the crown to change the time. Someone with small fingers shouldn't have a problem, but I have large hands. I did find an easy solution, though. Putting on a latex glove that I use for shop work, it provided a grip that easily allowed me to spin the crown to the correct time. You could also use a pencil eraser on the side of the crown to give some grip, too. This small issue is by no means a deal breaker because the watch functions perfectly, the time is easy to read, and I hope for many, many years of dependable service!

To summarize: I’ve found this watch to, overall, be a good watch, just not ideal for my particular needs.Now, I’ve worn a watch 24/7/365 since I was in 3rd grade. If I can’t wear a watch to bed, in the shower & when I jump in the pool it’s not for me. While I have different watches for different needs (work, every day, dress, SCUBA diving) I have no need for a delicate, fragile watch. Also, doing HVAC, I work with my hands. Suffice it to say, I beat the everliving crap out of my work watches. I have been through dozens of work watches of various styles & brands through the years. By now Casio is pretty much the only brand I buy for work watches. In my experience, no other brand has even come close to the right balance of features, toughness, value & looks.I got this watch for a work watch. It is insanely light which means it’s inherently comfortable. The face is very clean & exaggerated so it’s very easy to see the time even at the quickest glance. Like the vast majority of Casio watches, even if it isn’t a G-shock, it takes a heck of a beating. I also like the size & chunky look to it. While I like that look it’s also a drawback. It’s a thick case that juts up pretty far off the arm. Couple that with the many edges and it means it gets caught a lot in tight areas. Also, I find the timing function on this watch pretty useless. It basically maxes out at 30 min and the hands, markers & numbers are so small you really have to take your time looking close to read it.Overall, this is a good watch. True to Casio’s MO, it’s a very good value. Unfortunately, it falls shy of my needs for a work watch but I’m sure it would meet the needs of plenty of other people.

I've had this watch for about a year and a half now, long enough to give it a complete honest and thorough review. I'm in construction and this is my work watch. Both the watch and I take a beating daily. The watch has held up better than I have. The face is scratched up and the writing has sort of rubbed off the outside case, but that's about it. For the price, you may be able to find a better looking wTch but you certainly won't find a more durable one. Once this watch finally breaks, I will buy a new one of these watches and I'm not sure I can give any higher praise than that

This is an excellent watch for adolescents and for anyone with work/play situations where you need a reliable and durable watch but don't want to worry too much if it gets damaged or lost. For the price it's hard to beat. Keeps accurate time (gains about 8 seconds/month). The second hand aligns properly everywhere on the dial, and in general this watch looks good, both at a distance and close up. Easy to read, including the date, though the lume is not great. Reasonably water resistant (100 meters). Comfy band. Light weight. Not as nice as a G-Shock -- both have metal inner cases, but this watch's outer case is hard plastic that could crack, not the softer more durable plastic of a G-Shock, and it's got an acrylic crystal, not glass -- but this costs less than half the price of the cheaper G-Shocks. Its stopwatch uses two of the three smaller dials, one for seconds and the other for up to 30 minutes, with a lap function but no fractions-of-a-second, and is easy to use. The third small dial is 24 hours for AM/PM. I'v read that Robert Mueller (yes, that Mueller, as in the investigation) wears one of these Casios, which probably underscores its utility at a very utilitarian price: after all, if it's good enough for Mueller, it's probably good enough for you too. I was very pleased with this dive watch as it is very visible during my swimming in open waters. ( it is rated for a depth of 100M). That was before it started loosing 1/2 hour a day in correct time. I tried emailing and calling Casio they told me to go to their website. their website wont do anything without a invoice number. I bought this through Amazon so I only had Amazons invoice number which I gave to Casio. Casio then told me that they couldn't look up the Casio order number from the Amazon one, how can that be true. So I am left with a 3 month old malfunctioning watch which should be under warrantee but Casio wont accept it. This is a terrible company i will never buy another Casio product again and guess what their customer care department is called "Casio Elite Service System Team" . more like" elite second story team"

Value for money

Not as robust as it looks in the photograph....rubber strap is quite flimsy and thin...But does keep very accurate time....and looks great on the wrist...if you want a grab and go beater watch, this is it....

My son wanted this for Christmas. He was so excited to open it! He says it works fantastic! It arrived well packaged and very fast.

El producto llego bien, sin problema, pero despues de un lapso de usarlo la mica se empaño y queda algo opaca. No se si dependa del uso que le doy, pero tengo otros comprados aqui mismo y no tienen ese problema.

Excelente calidad!! Me gustó mucho y llegó muy rápido desde USA. El seguimiento por Amazon para la entrega fue diario, me informaba diariamente. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
