SISEREasyWeed Heat Transfer Vinyl HTV for T-Shirts 12 Inches by 3 Feet Roll (White)

This is NOT Siser HTVIt does not adhere to fabric properly and will only work on a cool peel.Hard to weedVery very disappointed as I ordered 2 rolls believing that these were genuine Siser.

My favourite brand for both HTV and permanent vinyl. Easy to weed and apply.

Reviews for this smidgen of Siser "EasyWeed" heat transfer vinyl (HTV) seem to favor extremes: either it performs as expected, or it's atrocious stuff. This polar variation of experience indicates some variability of product quality, or variability of the competence of the person using the stuff.This particular Siser EasyWeed HTV is/was awesome. I had zero problems with the product I received.- I used a Cameo Silhouette cutter thingy to slice the HTV (but not its acetate backing); the HTV cut perfectly because I took the extra time to dial-in the cutter thingy ...exactly.- I "weeded" extraneous material from its acetate backing; the HTV separated perfectly because I took the extra time to dial-in the cutter thingy ...perfectly.- I melted it onto cotton material; the HTV transferred to its target with zero difficulty because I took the extra time to prepare the material and the heat source, and I used Siser's recommended transfer technique ...precisely.So I suppose I count as yet another among the "5-Star Review" coterie of Siser EasyWeed aficionados. (snicker)However, three things bother me about the product:- This Siser EasyWeed HTV is awesome, presuming it's genuine Siser HTV vinyl. The material you receive is repackaged post-cut and arrives with no product brand or label, which strikes me as suspicious. You must simply trust the vendor is selling the product as described.- The HTV was cut ~.25" within the advertised dimensions; admittedly a trifle amount, but still.- It's relatively expensive at ~.02¢ per square inch. That doesn't seem like much, but calculate a typical project to square feet and it gets pricey fast. Competitive HTV product costs less than ~.01¢ per square inch, so shop around.

BEWARE before purchasing if you need at least 12inches for your designs. I needed the full 12inches for my designs, otherwise a small part of my lettering would cut off. Since I didn't use the cutting mat with my first cut I did not realize that it was not a full 12inches(the mat is 12inches). I did not realize that it was not the 12inches that was advertised, until I started the project and noticed my design was cut off. The vinyl roll was 11 3/4 of an inch. Not a huge difference unless you needed a full 12inches like I did. Which is why I purchased a roll that said it was 12in. I attached pictured of my old 12inch vinyl sheets vs the siser vinyl. I love Siser's htv vinyl, it's great quality but this was a huge disappointment. It makes me question if the seller even gave me the 3ft that they advertised. Wish I would have measured before I tossed the portion out that I could not use. Learned my lesson though. I'll be measuring everything from here on out!!!

There is no question that Siser Easy weed is top knotch vinyl, the trick is to find a seller that sends it to you in packaging that WORKS!!! This seller sent it packaged with easy to remove tape that closed it on the carrier plastic side of the vinyl. (So many stick tape to the actual vinyl ruining a big bit of vinyl, not these guys!) In addition it's in a plastic sleeve protecting it further from scratches etc.... There was one small bend in the vinyl, which wasn't the sellers fault. Amazon mailed it in a soft mailer and it got poked, but it's all still usable and I'm a happy camper!
