The pressure is very high when restricted at low flow .. I tested it at 124#' so there is NO pressure release bypass.. Most pumps require a variable pressure block so you can set the correct pressure. A resistor will drop watts to slow the pump and reduce pressure. Use about o.5 to 1.0 ohm .. A resistor by pass will give full- Voltage at : W.O.Throttle, and will increase pump life about 50%...Remember Electric fuel pumps only have a 3000 Hour life at full voltage. This is is about 100k miles.. Use very Clean fuel use 2 or 4 good Napa filters and,,Never suck air, at low gas tank levels increases life.. Example: Vetts. corning at 3/4 g ,, puts all the gasoline away from the pick-up, and the pump goes on high RPM with no lube = " good-by pump" soon. Jon, racer dude.

So, incase your looking at this pump, heres some helpful tips from someone whos bought a MOSTPLUSJDM ELITE AND A FEW OTHER "look alikes".THEY ARE ALL THE SAME AWESOME PUMP.you may read about this pump WHINING or MAKING A HIGH PITCHED NOISE. The only reason it is doing that is due to1. Hole in the fuel suction line.2. THEY DIDNT PRIME THEIR PUMP before turning the car on *YOU MUST PRIME THE FUEL PUMP (pour some fuel INTO the pump) before you try to turn it on.3. They honestly have no idea what they are doing and should leave this stuff to the professionals.very very versatile fuel pump, if you know what your going to do with it, it will WORK GREAT on any car WITH FUEL as its MAIN SOURCE OF COMBUSTION. AKA, the PUMP CAN GO INLINE WITH ANY FUEL HOSE (3/8in fittings) in ANY CAR. just look up how to do it.Ive personally bought almost 10 of these now.P.S. THIS IS THE CHEAPEST (as in price, not quality) PUMP THAT THIS BRAND MAKES ON AMAZON, i HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, MAKE SURE YOU BUY THIS PUMP IF YOUR LOOKING AT ANYTHING MOSTPLUS, OR that JDM crap page.This is literally the EXACT same PRESSURE, FLOW, AND GPH. |You shall not be dissatisfied ..... well, i havent been and this is #9!

Works great loud so you know it’s working lol

Bought this in January. Installed and worked great. In September, a low sounding "whining" noise started. Within 3 weeks, it was so loud, you couldn't hear yourself talk. The idle became iratic. I would not get this again.
