I used this product to remove a gold wedding band. At first I didn’t think it would do the jive but about 10 seconds later the ring was cut. Great and safe product for cutting a ring that you are unable to remove with other methods ( string, ribbon, oil, lotion, etc).

I have my wedding ring for 20 years that hasn't been able to come off for a few. It was thick and platinum. It took less than 2 minutes to get it off. It sawed right through it. I did have to "cut" or make a score in the other side so it had a pivot point to open up. Now I need to find a place to get the ring re-sized.

Bit of a learning curve to use. Mine broke on first use but the cutter was good enough for platnum. Handle came off during use.

Worked OK after I modified it and put a new notch in it to allow the blade to actually cut through the middle of the ring. Otherwise, the blade hits the arm before it can finish cutting through. This has been pointed out by many other reviews. I guess the manufacturer doesn't care. I only needed it for a one time use anyway.

Only used this once so I can’t speak for its long term use but it worked for what we bought it for. It cut off my ring with ease.

I fit the cutter under my ring and gave the wheel 4 or 5 gentle twists. It seemed to be working but the next twist - it broke. The threads on the handle that twists collapsed and it just spun without moving the cutter wheel. I would not recommend this.

Unfortunately I was unable to use this. It barely made a dent on my stainless steel ring, but likely would have worked on a different material. I ended up putting my ring in a vice, slipping a spoon handle under it and had a friend carefully use a hacksaw to get it off

It worked well my wife had a problem with swollen fingers and a tight ring this did the job.
