I used to have the straight version that doesn't fold in both vehicles so when out I could keep my bum clean. I would put it in a plastic shopping bag and felt very self-conscious carrying it to the bathroom. This item allows me to slip it in my pants or shorts pocket or in a jacket pocket. It works well. when placing toilet paper on the one end hold it my that section not the base of the wand as this will put undo stress on the hinge. I have bought one for my GF to carry in her purse and I have one in each vehicle.

While being on no weight bearing with a broken ankle I found myself in a predicament in the grocery store bathroom with tiny toilets. I'm also a bit on the heavier side and my belly prohibits me from bending forward as far and as easily as a smaller person would, while simultaneously making making my reach just a tad to short to wipe effectively under those conditions. I don't usually carry a purse, but I purchased a med. sized purse and now carry it with this handy utensil, my wallet, and cell phone in it just to make sure I don't end up in that predicament again.Luckily I was able to escape with my dignity on that occasion, but I certainly don't want to push my luck where personal hygiene is involved.I don't know how long it'll last cuz where it bends it has no release for the latch that holds it open so basically you're cracking it to close it each time. Until then I'll rest easy and buy another one should the need arise. It's well worth the reasonable cost considering the possible negative outcomes that my mind creates.

Getting paper to tuck into the wiping end of this product is very difficult. The edges are sharp (where you tuck the paper in, not the wiping surface). This was my biggest complaint. I had to check to make sure I didn't need a bandaid just from inserting the TP.Also, both plastic ends are covered in a rubberized material that is sticky - as if it was aged.. Just handling it was kind of gross (although I have no doubt that this was a brand new product).The provided vinyl case is just barely large enough to get the device into and it took some work to package everything up. My purpose for chosing a fold up model was to use when I was away from home and could carry it discretely. It isn't discrete if you have to double your time using the restroom because you can't pack up your equipment.I will be requesting a refund and looking at a different model.

This is my fourth time. It works fine, but the holding mechanism fails every time after using it for several months. Manufacturer needs to improve the holding mechanism. I am looking for a substitute, but it has been difficult.

It was basically very easy to use and effective. The paper didn't dislodge from the device as easily as I'd hoped, but I'm still working on that.

I am a cancer patient, and it is hard to reach when I go to the bathroom. I have never been so happy and excited to tell you about this fabulous product I am able to go to the public bathrooms I have not been able to be independent in that area but not anymore I put it in my purse and I am ready whenever I need it, it lays flat and fits perfectly.
