Building Forms & Reports: Using Microsoft Access 2010

I honestly don't know where the disconnect is between the reviews and the value of the material provided in this book, but this is where the Amazon reviews system dashes itself on the rocks.This is a TREMENDOUSLY useful book that explains the ins and outs of forms and reports in a way that other materials only gloss over, resulting in you having to fill in the gaps via Google or Access related forums. This is a marvelous resource, it truly is, and upon reading it, it answers basically every question imaginable about forms and reports. I love this book, and the other books in the author's series are wonderful as well. I wasn't even going to leave a review, but after actually reading/using this book, and seeing how it's being misrepresented in the reviews and comments, I had to write something. Huge fan of the format, layout, info provided etc. Great work!!!

Didn't help me too much. More focus on a range of examples and scenarios would make this a more useful book. Without this its not greatly different to available help functions.

Virtually no hands on. Just instructions. There are much better books on MS Access
