The lice fought the comb and the comb won.
Lemme tell y'all something. This is my first year at college, and my first time away from home. I was so excited I got to go home for Thanksgiving break, and during that time my little cousin gave me lice. I didn't find out until I went home for Christmas break. I bought lice cream, combed my head, and checked back a few days later. Everything was honky-dory. Then my head starts itching again. I'm a few days from going back to school, and the lice decided to repopulate. I do the cream and comb again, but evolution is at work and I've accidentally bred lice that are resistant to permethrin (the pesticide in lice creams/shampoo). I figured I'd just have to do this the old fashioned way, by removing every lice and nit manually until there's no one left to repopulate. With the cheap-ass plastic comb that came in the box, I began a daily ritual of combing through my hair. Side note on my hair: it's thick. Luckily it's not long anymore, but the viking blood from generations ago shines through in a thick mane. This little plastic comb didn't stand a chance. A few days back at school and a tooth of the comb breaks off. I look at it with disdain. It's okay. It'll be a little less effective, but I'll just comb more frequently. A week or two later, and I'm still finding lice because of this missing tooth. Also more teeth have broken off. The comb is now officially useless, but my lice aren't gone. Now I'm still buggy, I have no way to get rid of them, and I live in a suite with 3 other girls that I did NOT want to spread lice to. Also my head itched and it sucked. It's cold outside, and it would have been a rough time to walk to the nearest drug store to buy more lice supplies (also the cream doesn't even work anymore). In my time of need, I turn to Amazon. I find this beautiful little stainless steel comb and I order it. It comes in the residential mailbox a few days later, and I pull it out and use it as soon as i get back to my dorm. This comb is picking out tiny nits and nymphs that the plastic comb couldn't have dreamed of catching. 2 brushes later and I'm not pulling anything resembling a louse off of my head. 4 brushes later and the tines of the comb are still in perfect condition, despite wrestling with my viking hair. I highly recommend this comb.

Works great!
This lice comb brush is a great product. It works well on long, short, wavy/curly and straight hair! I am a nanny for school-aged kids and it worked amazing!!! It is made from a good quality material and the individual needles are very close to each other which allows you to get every single louse out. Plus, the handle is comfortable and easy to use which makes the removal quicker, and more importantly, more efficient. This is an item that is good to keep on hand, hoping it never ever needs to be used!!! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has children, of all ages!!!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
I used the comb for two days and it broke into three pieces. It was helpful when it was brand new for 1 day! I wouldn't recommend to buy because it is a two day use and not worth it at all for the purpose it has to serve and my daughter has very short thin hair above the shoulders I can imagine how useless it would be for long thick hair. I have attached a picture.

Don't buy the knock off
Truly the best out there. I have both this and the copy. Spend the little extra, you'll get way more eggs out.
