Smells great! Helps groom with no crunch!
I very much enjoy this "Beard Butter"At first, I had a hard time distinguishing the types of beard products. But I narrowed it down to 3: Balm, Butter, and Oil.Balm is stickier and leaves a heavier texture on your beard but styles and shapes ok..Oil smells good, and somewhat moisturizes (moreso for your skin than your hair), but does nothing to help style for me.BUTTER however... Is perfect. Its smooth and light, soft, and not crunchy. When used in the appropriate way you can get some hold to a style, some softness and a good smell all at the same time.I do recommend you style the beard first, dry and straighten, or however you do it up first. Then add the butter and feel the difference! It definitely makes my beard feel healthier. It keeps it from getting dry and has minimal transfer issues after 10-15 minutes (so like it wont rub off from touching other things by accident after that usually).Lovely product, I have purchased before and will continue to until I can't find it!

Good beard butter but expensive
This beard balm is good, but it's also expensive. The balm melts quickly and is easy to work into my beard. I like the scent but it does dissipate a bit quickly.vthe jar is only 2 ounces and a "light" 2 ounces at that. By that I mean that most of these containers give you a bit over the listed weight but not these guys. If you don't mind the price, this is a quality product.

Exceptional Beard Butter
I've been using the Detroit Grooming Co. Beard Butter in the Belle Isle scent, and it's nothing short of amazing! From the moment you open the jar, you're hit with a refreshing and balanced blend of lavender and orange. It's not overpowering but leaves a pleasant, subtle scent that stays with you all day, giving your beard a fresh touch that feels premium and sophisticated. In terms of performance, this beard butter delivers on every front. It softens the beard immediately, making it much more manageable for styling. My beard has become noticeably softer, fuller, and easier to control since using it, and the shea butter and safflower oil provide long-lasting hydration without feeling greasy.I’ve also noticed increased thickness and overall health of my beard. This product nourishes and rejuvenates with every use, which is perfect for those aiming for a thicker, more substantial beard.I also appreciate that it's made in the USA with all-natural ingredients, so I know I’m using a product that’s good for my beard and the environment. If you're serious about beard care, the Belle Isle Beard Butter is a must-have addition to your grooming routine! Highly recommend!

No 313, Yes Belle Isle!
I thought I wrote a scathing review for this product but can't seem to find it. Maybe I decided it was too scathing? Regardless, I'll try to get through this quickly. I purchased the 313 scent based on several glowing reviews, stating this was one of the better scents. I know scents are certainly be subjective, but it seemed that toasted vanilla and amber would be nice. I couldn't have been more wrong. It's incredibly pungent, and has a super strong chemical fabricated smell that sticks in my nostrils. I could barely put up with it before I washed it out, and then it still lingered. However, I liked the consistency and effect it had. Used in smaller amounts I could suffer through it, and after a couple of hours the smell wears off. I continued my search. Finally just for giggles I tried the Belle Isle scent, and what a difference! If not for the actual product, I'd swear it was a different brand entirely. Belle Isle is fresh and subtle, at first I couldn't smell anything taking a sniff out of the jar. Once I started rubbing it in, I was detecting very light and bright citrus with a mild lavender background. Winner winner chicken dinner! So glad I gave it another chance. I was afraid they'd have the same sort of fake chemical stench of the other product. Hey, if you like it that's great. Some people like country music and others... In the end, this is the best butter product I've found. Some are more like cold cream, a little wetter and takes a while to dry. Others are like a balm. This is stiff but starts to melt nicely, and doesn't star to run like some other brands. It stays put, and tames those fly aways!Pros:- Good consistency- Moisturizes and holds- Spreads smoothly- Stays putCons:- My dog is constantly trying to eat my beard- Some scents may be off puttingI'm happy now, this appears to be my go to when out and about. 5 Stars, great product.

To me it's a balm
The product is great. I however thought I was purchasing butter. This is more like a balm to me. Personally, I don't care for the greasy feeling after you apply it. I was looking for something to hold my beard. It's still great
