Perfect for my old, overweight Jack Russell
My Jack Russell is spastic. She is 14, overweight, and arthritic in her hips. She can no longer jump on furniture.Ordered these foam steps. Four tier. PERFECT HEIGHT. We opened the package and left it out to pop into shape. Six hours later they were stairs. 12 hours later they were ready. Had no trouble getting the cover on.Literally placed them in front of the chair, and the moment I got them there my baby hopped on and climbed up. No problem. She has now used them many times in the last hour up and down. She loves them. When we go to bed tonight, we will move them to the bed for ember to climb up and down. They are a smidge shorter than our bed, but not by much and she has already tested them out and had no problem getting up on the bed and down again. Now, we have vinyl floors and, as I said, my baby is a chunky monkey. So the steps do slide a smidge. Not enough for her to fall off or anything but enough for momma (me) to not like it. So we purchased a roll of Velcro at Joanne’s craft store and laid it in front of the chair on the floor and attached the other side to the bottom of the step. Did the same in the bedroom. And it keeps it stable to the floor for her to use it and momma feel she is safe. And it’s still moveable from room to room.Extra bonus and really impressive for the company: They included a tug-of-war toy in the package. I absolutely love this because, one, it’s very thoughtful. Two, it’s a ready-made positive reinforcement toy to show the babies that the steps are a good thing for those babies that are apprehensive. My baby was not apprehensive. But when we opened the toy, she knew it was for her and she was happy to accept it. LOL.Really love the product. My baby is happy. She is going to have a much more comfortable, easier, less painful or non-painful experience getting on her furniture. And it really soothes my heart to know that she won’t have to rely on me picking her up to place her. She gets to maintain her independence and her confidence into these last years of her life.Great product. Totally recommend it!

Easy for dogs to climb
I love this. It is just the right height for my couch without taking a lot of space in the room plus it does not have steep, short steps, like most other dog stairs. An added benefit - it does not hurt when I walk into it accidentally. Even though it is lightweight, it is fairly stable and keeps in place. It moves on occasion when my dogs jump over it as a shortcut to the water bowl, but even then, it stays in place most of the time, and because it is soft, they don't hurt themselves either when they jump over it to their water bowl. Also because of its shape, they haven't tried to use it as a giant stuffed toy or eat it, unlike heavy dog beds that are advertised as indestructible. I would definitely purchase this again and recommend this to others.

NOT THE HEIGHT & 2 DUDS
Typically I’m Not harsh in reviews , however my opinion & Advise - dont waste your time like I did ….this is not advertised correctly !!! Not made well . Some reviews say don’t panic when you first open it . Give it time . I have this one over 72 hours . Only 19 inches high !!!! If your looking for height it’s not accurately advertised. I have a nice ramp now that’s actually 21 hight & believe it or not that extra inch and a half means a lot ….& got this one for my dogs joints & thought it would be easier for her going down bc it’s foam . This ramp is no way high enough & I needed the 20.5 inches . The foam also doesn’t fully expand accurately & the bottom lip stays up , meaning it’s not solid to the floor . The cover was flimsy bc the ramp was a dud . So I ordered another one for my other room in a different color & had the same experience only that one was worse than this one & lap-sided - just retuned them both & thanks Amazon for the free returns !!!!! Had to go to kohls amazon kiosk to box it bc who has boxes that big l

Great for teeny-tiny dogs!
Sadly,I had to returned the 4 tier dog steps. I have a tiny Yorkie & a tiny Chihuahua (under 5 lbs.) & was tired of picking them both up 10 times a night, to get on/off our high king size bed. I bought the 4 tier, rounded, foam, suede stairs although our bed is 27" off the ground. I knew they might not like going "UP" the stairs, but figured we could teach them both up & down......in time~Problem is, the frame of our bed juts out beyond the mattress, enough to cause a gaping 4" space, whereby our tiny dogs could fall through:( So I cleaverly (I thought..) inserted a towel between the space. Still, there was too much of a height deficit between the top step & the top of our mattress.Even though it didn't work out for me, I've read many reviews on this product & feel this item needs positive input, as I think it will work well on dogs under 10 lbs., and taught early on, how to navigate these steps. Attractive, pretty sturdy, nice rounded edges for little ones. I think cost-wise it was somewhat expensive but I was willing to pay the price if my dogs used it to go "UP" the stairs, instead of just "DOWN" the stairs. These steps weren't meant for medium or large breeds!!!Maybe constructing "guard rails" on either side would have given my dogs more security, but there wasn't a way to do that:( Some dogs are more adventurous than others, but clearly mine are not...So I get to continue putting them on & off our bed 20 times a night, but we love them to pieces, so it's all good! Sadly, both dogs approach our bed ON MY SIDE ONLY.....grrrrrrgh!

Works for my elderly dog
This works really well for my elderly dog who doesn't have a lot of strength in her back legs. The sloping incline is easier for her to manage to climb onto our bed. It's a little big, but that's minor.

My dogs hate it, but it's nicely made.
It weighs almost nothing, so it does not feel sturdy to my dogs and they won't use it. Quality is good, and zippered/washable cover is a good feature. Price was good for the quality. I'd give it 5 stars if they dogs would use it, but they won't. I think if you added a heavy board in the bottom, it might make it stay put and feel sturdier... instead I'm just still lifting them up and down manually.
