Magnifying glass works very well but the light is variable in its brightness. Maybe mine has a loose connection because if I hit (tap) the edge of the glass frame against the palm of my hand the light brightens.

First of all, the packaging was horrible. It arrived wrapped in very thin bubble wrap, in a flimsy box, in a bubble envelope. The box, of course, was smashed. This is not a good first impression! The magnifying glass was, amazingly, still intact and unbroken. The magnifying glass itself is alright. The handle is large and easy to grip. The glass could be larger, though. The LED lights work great. Overall, I like it. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

I bought this for my Dad who has macular degeneration. He has several magnifiers that he uses, but he often looses them. This is a nicely balanced, well put together magnifier with a strong light that works well for him. It's nice design with a smaller lens for small close-up work.
