Power Conspiracy: (Path of the Ranger Book 9)

This is by far the best series of books I have read and can't wait for the next book to come out

Good story line

The star they need to rescue Astrid from the Turquoise Queen has been stolen, Lasgol, Ingrid, Viggo leave to get it back, Nilsa and Gerd have been asked to go and see EgilEgil has discovered what he thinks could cure Dolbara, he leaves with Gerd, Nilsa and Valerie sent as an archer to help them, they had a long journey to the Great Library at Eronanlia where it was believed a cure was a success with a similar patientLasgol and friends retrieve the star and head for the Turquoise Queen to rescue Astrid but it won't be as easy as they thought it would beEgil and friends find it more difficult than they thought to get the information they needed for Dolbara, the information they seek is locked awayExcellent

Right from book one I have been hooked by these books. The characters are great and all different, but also very brave. Lasgol the main character that keeps the Panthers together is amazing, I love him. Camu is a brilliant little character. I can't praise Pedro enough for these amazing adventures and I look forward eagerly for the next instalment.

Power Conspiracy is another fast pace book in the Path of the Rangers series. This one has two main story arcs. Different tasks see the panthers still working in two groups, with Egil, Gerd ad Nilsa teaming up while Viggo, Lasgol, and Ingrid set out to join up with Astrid.This latest addition to the series is full of surprises and excitement and in my opinion one of the stronger ones in the series to date.Will the Panthers Reunite, Do Viggo and Ingrid finally get along, and can Losgol keep Camu & Ona out of trouble?

Slightly predictable as the author has to create new situations in this the 9th book of 20. I must confess to skipping pages to ‘get to the point’ so to speak.Nevertheless I will continue on following the Snow Panthers.

A compelling story of intrigue, betrayal, magic and friendship. All the elements that make this one of the most successful on-going fantasy series available to readers of all ages interested in the genre.

I read these books as a “young at heart”, and found them deeply troubling.White, tall, blond and blue eyed were handsome or beautiful, depending on the gender. On the other hand, the dark skinned with brown eyes, flat noses and ‘natty’ hair were ugly - always!On ONE occasion Lasgol didn’t condone racism in the Specialists book, but the rest of the time, it was being pushed so much I often wondered if Pedro Urvi was related to Hitler!This “message” was re-inforced time and time and time and time again throughout the books. Considering that the target market is young impressionable minds, I find the writing dangerous at a time when discrimination should be eradicated and not encouraged, at a time where movements like “Black Lives Matter” are having to be formed because some people believe that Black people are ‘less’; the message re-iterated ad infinitude in these books.Some of the writing was a bit wooden and repetitive (a bit of copy and paste going on?), but the plots were enjoyable.

the expanding story keeps the reader connected to the characters even as the story is growing

Fascinating series you never get tired of as each plot is diverse and unexpected. Characters are well developed and each one is a unique well integrated piece of the whole plot.

The author has done a fantastic job developing the characters in this series. Each book has had new twists with each forward progression. Completely enjoyable reading
