Velecta Paramount Temp XXP Blow Dryer

This is by far the best hair dryer I have ever used. Been a hairstylist for 13 years. Had this one about a year after I started. Had it for 8 years before the cord started to fray. Ordered myself a new one and fixed up the old one and gave it to my mom. Is still working! The back falls off sometimes, but in good shape still. My new one unfortunately fell off a counter onto a very hard surface and broke. Not the fault of the blowdryer. So, finally ordered myself a new one and it's as great as the one I originally bought. Has a lot of power. Dries hair faster than any other dryer I have used. Keeps the hair smooth. Definitely worth this price, as they did not even sell these in the US when I originally bought my first one and paid $250!

I bought this in March 2020. I use the dryer daily for about 20 minutes - after the first few uses, when I could unplug the dryer the cord would be warm to the touch (which doesn't typically happen with other dryers, straighteners, etc.) It is now September and I almost had a fire in my house!! You can see it got SO hot that the plastic melted on the end of the cord & left melted plastic in the electrical outlet as well. I have never experienced this before. I unplug the dryer and put it away after every use. SO dangerous - I dont think Im eligible to return item. Would never purchase this again.

I have owned this hair dryer for 10 years now. It still works amazing. I have thick curly hair and it dries my hair in half the time of a normal hair dryer. I purchased this for my mom recently and she absolutely loves it. Highly recommend.
