Very Good - I've Tried Several Kinds And These Have Worked Out The Best
I bought my first Aqua Vista Sphere swim mask (goggles) in 2014, two additional pairs in 2015, and am now about to purchase my fourth in 2016. The first purchase was for me to wear. Guests when they came to our pool wanted to wear mine rather than any other goggle available for their use. So I bought extras to accommodate.Children as young as 9 wear these goggles and so do the adults so there is a wide range of fit. Most wear them in horseplay and games. I am the person that actually swim laps. I don't swim a lot of freestyle where there is side to side movement - rather I swim mostly breast stroke with a snorkel. But even in freestyle I haven't found any meaningful leakage issue. The key to ensuring a good seal to prevent leakage is to gently press the soft rim against your face - one can hear and feel the suction. These Vistas provide a better seal then any other goggles that I've tried including other Aqua Sphere models. The goggle rim is soft and comfortable and does not leave the so called "racoon eyes" on removal. As far as anti-fog I don't expect anti-fog assurance of any mask under all conditions. As an ex-Scuba diver the routine is to spit on the inside lens and then to rub and slosh it around with water. When I forget the routine the Vistas sometimes do fog up, but it seems the fogging does not occur as quickly as with other masks that I've used. The soft sealing rim of the Aqua Sphere Vista is clear when new but it will fairly quickly turn milky in use. Probably the chlorine in the water is a cause. Not a big thing but something to know. The Vistas are easy to adjust while on the face. It happens that guests sometimes place the goggles "lens down" on the concrete pool apron. The hard colored rim extends above the lens surface and is somewhat protective of that lens surface when this happens. Under very close examination for this review I have noticed fine scratches on the lenses of one pair of goggles. These marks are not distracting or visible to one who is actually wearing the goggles. All and all "we" - that is all of us goggle wearers at this pool - are extremely happy with the Aqua Sphere Vistas

Finally, comfy goggles that don't hurt your eyes and skin!
I've used probably 30 pairs of goggles in my life and these are unbelievably great. Stellar. Amazing. Just the best. Why? I'd had problems over the years with goggles that never adjusted right or broke at the strap connection (that happened alot). Other times it was leaks. But the worst problem I've had almost continually is too much pressure on my eye sockets and under my eyes. This left me with black eyes at times! Other times the marks left would stay all day. It got to be I had permanent circles under my eyes and a crease on my lids. AND, to top that off, the lids developed freckles in the same pattern as the goggles. The typical goggles that you see. Especially racing goggles. Yikes. It got to the point I stopped using goggles because of the pain and distraction. The black eyes were the final straw. But then I discovered my eyes had a lot of pain and I could barely see across the pool for the chlorine. Bad idea, right? Then I saw these at the pool on a lifeguard. They aren't for racing, I've heard, because they are wider. But since I'm an old lady, I don't race. Here's what they do: they adjust super easy with just a push button on each side. The straps are wide so they don't cut into your scalp. The width is wraparound, so you can see ahead and all the peripheral vision on the sides without turning your head. Seriously, you can go underwater, scan the pool without turning! The blue seems good to avoid glare. And they came with a hardshell protective case.BUT, the single best thing is that the suction-y parts that are the pale soft plastic: they meet your face above your eyebrows along their line, and also go lower than your bottom eye socket (yes, you can still wear a breathing trainer if you want with these). So no pressure on the eye sockets either above or below. The feeling is incredible. Lightweight, aerodynamic, and smooth. No pinching at the sides where the goggle meets the strap. Just an incredibly comfortable fit.I've heard they scratch, but with the hard case I don't see how unless you toss them on the concrete. They feel great with a swim cap or without (just a ponytail).I can't say enough good things about these!
