I know plant based protein powders mostly taste like dirt because they aren’t full of rubbish and sweeteners so I was half expecting that to be the case here. It didn’t taste bad at all. I could taste a little cinnamon but it was in the background and aside from that it was pretty nondescript which is a win from my perspective. I wouldn’t drink it on it’s own but I don’t think you are supposed to. I think it’s meant to basically go with whatever one adds to it and I make the same smoothie every day with frozen berries and chia and it worked well with that. It already has chia in it but I add more. I also like the nutrition data as it is really low in stuff you want it to be low in and high in the things that are good for you. I’m a happy camper.

I tried a few other unflavoured blends before finding this one and this one is my favourite. I think they must be a new company but I felt like it was worth taking the risk. Whilst it isn’t the cheapest protein powder, it is less than a quid per serving - which is not bad at all really. It tastes like it’s the cleanest product versus the others I tried and it is vegan and has organic certification, which was important to me and makes it worth it. So, based on the quality of the ingredients used and the taste profile - in so far as it was very natural and neutral, this gets 5 stars from me. It blended really fast in my Sage boss-to-go and wasn’t lumpy and I had zero hint of bitterness/aftertaste at all and I felt light after consuming it - I used their suggestion on the back of the pack and mixed it with some raw cacao and a banana and it was awesome. I’m a recent plant-powered convert and will 100% be buying this blend again.

I’m a happy customer. This was exactly what I was looking for and it wasn’t bitter and had zero aftertaste. It also seemed to blend really well with little effort (I use a nutribullet). I use it in the morning and make it either with veggies or fruit. I do wish it was available in a bigger size but 25 servings does last for almost a month so that works out to £0.92 per serving which is actually quite reasonable.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I’m new to non-dairy protein and I’ve tried a few vegan protein blends and didn’t like the taste of most of them. This blend was almost totally neutral aside from a slight taste of cinnamon - which I love anyway. I made my regular shake with banana and strawberries and it tasted really good. No bitterness at all. Will def buy this again.

This is a great protein powder. It doesn't have any specific taste, the protein value is high, and the ingredients are all really good. I will definitely be buying this again.

Great at Disolving in Juice

I was looking for a mild tasting vegan powder that I could add my own flavours to. This one even says “when we say ‘naked’ we mean naked. So don’t go complaining about its lack of taste” in the description! So I was very surprised to find it tasted of curry. I checked the ingredients and there it is - turmeric, the curry spice. Yes it says there are botanical essences in there, and many powders do have them, but their strong flavours usually undergo a neutralising process before adding. I can even see small lumps of yellow turmeric in the mix. Won’t be buying again.
