Magma Riot Backpack XL

Now if you're looking at this backpack you're probably looking for something to fit your Kontrol S2/S4 or other mixer.This bag is customisable to different requirements depending on the mixer so can cover most things. Easily fits an S4, Maschine, laptop and then there's enough pockets to put cables hard drives and whatever other extras you may need to carry. The build quality is excellent and you can tell if you're caught in the rain that your gear should be alright. If you're not carrying much gear there's a zip which goes all the way round which makes the width come in an inch or two. So if you're flying you should be able to get it down to carry on dimensions pretty easily, even if your bag is overweight This bag actually cost more than the mixer it was holding but this is exactly what I need to carry the gear that I want and I know it will be protected. Just buy it already!.

Poor quality, falling apart faster than my $50 backpack, not worth it, broken zippers and rips after barely using for a couple months.

Excellent bag. Versatile, adaptable, and well made. I’d have loved maybe one more vertical sealable large pocket/pouch in it (like the size of the laptop compartment but maybe on the inside and attached to the body), but ultimately i’m very satisfied. I have a ton of uses for it, but it suited my main purpose well, as a protective home base for my most expensive studio laptop and all of its accessories (wireless keyboard, trackpad, adaptors, cables, hubs, hardrives etc). It’s a little pricey, but you really get the quality you pay for here. It seems thoroughly waterproof (educated speculation), theft resistant, and intelligently padded.

The size and pockets are good. But the problem I have is with the zippers on the front pouches. The zippers for those areas are no good now. The way it's deigned makes it difficult to repair. For the amount I paid for this, I was hoping it would last longer than this. I am going to try out the Jetpack XL to see how that one performs.

The backpack is amazing! My boyfriend loves it. There are so many compartments and the quality is great! He has a kontrol s4 that fits perfectly and there's still plenty of room for his laptop along with more things. Kontrol s4 dimensions are 50 x 33.8 x 7.2. Thanks.

This bag is great, it has alot of room and compartments and the material is durable. The only issue is it leans forward when empty and falls forward when loaded. I’m not sure if the base isn’t wide enough or if it’s not well balanced.

This is a great gig bag for any mobile DJ on the go. It’s got plenty of space and compartments for everything from small to mid sized DJ controllers, hard drives, wires, mics & headphones.

Layout and usability are great, but these are just not durable, i have maxpedition and Hazard 4 bags that see daily use in significantly more hostile environments, zippers opening and closing multiple times a day that have been going for years without issue but this bag has had multiple zipper failures within a few months, on a bag thats mainly used on weekends. Not nearly enough from a bag of this cost.

I can get a Launchpad Pro in its UDG case into this, plus a Audiohub, macbook 15", cables+chargers, Launchkey Mini MK2 Keyboard and get on the road with no issues. There was still space to spare and yet somehow the backpack isnt that bulky. The design is stealthy and well designed also, It might seem like a lot to pay but when you carry the equipment I do its a small price to pay to protect your musical investment.

Pretty much the best gear bag money can buy. Waterproof tarpaulin lined zippers and customizable velcro foam you really can't ask for more. Very happy.

Ich habe mir den Magma DJ Rucksack für mein Traktor S5 Controller zugelegt nachdem mir der UDG Flight Bag nicht recht zusagte. Der Controller passt genau hinein und trotzdem ist der Rucksack noch als Handgepäck zugelassen (bei den meisten Airlines). Zum Produkt: Die Verarbeitung ist super, sehr überzeugend sind die Wasserdichten Reisverschlüsse. Die Fächer und Nähte sind gut gearbeitet. Die Aufteilung des Hauptfaches ist sehr variabel, jedoch ist die Polsterung nicht sehr dick (bedeutend dünner als bei dem UDG). Ausreichenden Schutz gewährt es allemal, jedoch nur als Handgepäck. Ich würde den Rucksack nicht aufgeben. Dafür passt allerdings auch in das Hauptfach neben den Controller noch ein Laptopstand und ein kleiner Controller (NI F1 oder ähnlich). Das Laptopfach bietet genügend Platz für mein 16" Laptop inclusive Ladegerät. Der Tragekomfort ist gut, kleine Polster machen es angenehm. Fazit: Wer extrem sicher seinen Controller verpacken will sollte eher den UDG Flight bag nehmen. Der ist steif und extrem gut gepolstert im Innenraum - sodass man den Controller auch aufgeben kann. Leider ist der UDG Bag sehr unbequem zum tragen. Wer jedoch den Controller als Handgepäck mitnehmen mag, etwas mehr Wert auf Tragekomfort legt und mehr Kleinigkeiten extra verstauen muss, dem rate ich den Magma Bag. Ich bin rundum zufrieden!
