Very nice, and exactly like our breville one that came with the machine. It is the same quality as the original. It is by the way a great idea to have two port-a- filters, especially when company comes over, or when, like us, she likes regular beans and I need decaf. It is very nice to have.

This naked Portafilter does what it's supposed to do; act as an aid to help me perfect my tamps. I have a Breville Infuser espresso machine. This Portafilter doesn't fit quite as snugly into the group head as the Breville Portafilter, though it does fit sufficiently. The naked Portafilter is a little lighter than the Breville and the handle is about 5/8" longer but the quality seems sufficient, especially considering it won't be used daily for years on end.I use a Breville Smart grinder Pro to grind my coffee directly into the Portafilter. I believe someone in another review said that their Portafilter couldn't activate the auto grind feature on their grinder with the dosing ring on. As shown in my photo, it does fit into my grinder and the auto grind feature will operate by pushing the naked Portafilter in with the dosing ring on but that feature doesn't work when I put the dosing ring on the Portafilter that came with my machine.All in all, I'm happy with this purchase.

This product did not come with the magnetic dosing ring as described. This was the only reason I chose this product over other options as I was after one of these as well.I decided to use the portafilter anyway, worked perfectly fine the first few times. After the 4th use, the pressure of the grouphead seemingly blew the portafilter out, in turn sending wet coffee grinds all over my kitchen and smashing a coffee mug. I stupidly attempted this again hoping it was an anomaly but the same thing happened (minus the mug). I then made a 3rd coffee using the Factory portafilter which was perfect as usual.I inspected the portafilter next to the original Breville one and confirmed that the 3 tabs are in fact a different size on each. This explained why the portafilter was not staying in the grouphead properly.

Super happy with this purshase. It's a great improvement over the stock accessories. I get consistent results every time now.
