I just wanted to write and thank you for writing such an amazing book. I finished the Purple Rain sessions last night and it painted such a vivid picture of the talent and dedication of Prince and all the people around him. I like that it didn't shy away from some of the difficult aspects of his personality or choices but gave them context and light in order to show how they were arrived at and portrayed him as more human, just with an exceptional gift.The dedication and research you put in, attributing quotes at perfect sections to help understand a particular slice of time was masterful. I cannot thank you enough for the way you have honoured and expanded his legacy.This is an amazing book that every prince fan should read. Meticulously researched and organised, the diaries and factual approach, using perfectly placed quotes from those who knew him best allow the real person to shine through without any need for hyperbole.Buy this immediately!

Sehr detailliert und umfangreich geschrieben, so das es eine Freude war es zu lesen. Bin schon sehr gespannt auf den nächsten Teil der Reihe. Das ist ein Buch, das der wahre Fan unbedingt gelesen haben muss.
