Three pieces, four screws. Doesn't get much easier than that. Sturdy. Simple. Raises my laptop up and allows for air flow so that it doesn't overheat. I appreciate the low cost and the simplicity. Also delivered very quickly without incident.

I have a 14“ gaming laptop that generates a ton of heat. If it's sitting on a desk, the top of the keyboard gets uncomfortably warm after a half hour. Since it's so small, I wasn't having much luck finding a cooling mat that wasn't way too big and I would rather not have something plugged into the usb port at all times anyway. I gave this a try thinking that if it didn't work for airflow, I could use it for ergonomics while working.It actually makes a huge difference in temperature, adjusts the keyboard to a much more comfortable angle, and holds the laptop well enough that when I put it away, it's still sitting on the stand on a shelf. When in use, the laptop doesn't shift around or feel unsteady. It was easy to assemble and seems pretty sturdy. The size is perfect for a 14“ laptop but would handle a larger one well too. Would absolutely recommend.

I've owned 2 of these for over 2.5 years and they work well. The stand doesn't collapse, but that makes it much more stable than a foldable model. My only complaint is that it's difficult to carry the stand with the laptop already on top. It would be nice if there were a second bar across the bottom just to aid with carrying. After 2.5 years, the rubberized coating is starting to wear little bit. It's a great value for $11.

The item came in a box with the 3 solid metal pieces that make the stand with several silicone grip pads on them so your computer doesnt slide off of it, the 4 necessary screws + 1 bonus screw (in case you misplaced one), and the Allen key for the provided screws.Stand is lightweight, and raises your laptop computer to a more comfortable viewing angle. This stand is ideal for desks, but you could use it on any flat surface, like a portable tray or lap desk.This stand does exactly what it the merchant advertises it to do, and does it well. With the price and the simplicity of this product, the stand deserves no less than 5-stars. cheers!

This is a well made stand that holds my 17" laptop securely and at the right height. Assembly screws and tool are included. An extra screw is even included so when you drop one on your dark floor, you have a backup. Re black vs silver. So little shows. Buy the least expensive.

Huge positive difference. I work standing. This let's air circulate under laptop. More comfort typing. Better than I anticipated.

Ordered this because my laptop was shutting down. There was not enough air moving under it to keep it cool.It was very easy to put together. Love the silicone strips on the frame, my laptop does not move or get to hot now. The screen is now at eye view . Wish I would have gotten this a long time ago. Price was great too!
