It didn’t help as much immediately and took longer to work than hoped!
I bought this for one of my cats who is having hair-ball coughing episodes of 5 to 6 each day for about a week. These packets are nicely packaged for one dose. He is a short hair cat so combing only removes a small amount daily, and his coughing doesn’t seem to result in a lot of ball vomit residue. He isn’t a fan of fish but he did take this medication for the first 3 days now I have to smear it on his leg so he must lick it off the last 2 days. I’ve also given it to some of my other cats although it’s insufficient number of packets to give it to them all (6) so I’ve mostly focused on the one who is coughing and waking me up at night (some like it, some do not). The coughing is down to maybe 2 or 3 per day with the combing added, but it’s not completely eliminated for the five days I’ve been at it, so it’s a little disappointing. I selected this because it appears to be safer than most other options available, no adverse reaction (other than maybe taste) and no harmful preservatives. Some of my cats come to get it and some avoid it but then it’s medication so if I think they need it I smear it on them and they lick it off. Each packet is a very small dose so it’s not like a tube for multi cat households but the tubes I usually didn’t use up and had to discard it anyway. Same with a small bottle of cod lover oil, much of that is thrown out, so I thought the packets would not be wasted, and would be perfect for a household with only 1-2 cats, especially during spring shedding season when it is necessary. Summary packets are nice, this is safe and easy to administer. I ended up buying a bottle of cod liver oil which I’m now second week into and that is helping: actually getting some neat little brownish hair balls now form this cat and the frequency of coughing is lessening. It just needed more time to work!!! If you have more than one cat these packets might not be enough to work.

Cats won't eat it
Sadly, my cats wouldn't touch this. I loved the fact that it came in tiny individual packages and it was different than the other types out there. I put it next to their food in the same dish. They wouldn't even touch their food with that in their dish! Had to throw it all out. If I attempted to rub it on the cats directly, then all I get is a cat that doesn't want to be near me for fear it's going to be "oiled" up. I only bought a 10 pack - -glad I did. I will share with a family member-maybe her cats will eat it??

Bad tasting (according to my cat)
My cat refused to eat this even when applied to his paw. The ingredients are high quality but apparently the taste is not good. I received a full refund from the seller which was very kind of them.

Poor quality and cat didn’t touch
This is really bad quality. It’s not blended, you open the pack and it’s oil and then some goopy stuff. I tried a bunch of times, different methods to get it to mix together but nothing worked. My cat wouldn’t touch it. Waste of money, not sure how it has such high ratings…?

Product
This product is wonderful. Not sure my cat likes it yet but he should get used to it.

Would not recommend
Bought the product to help with my Persian getting hair balls. Tried giving it to her on my finger, putting it in a bowl, etc. she would not have anything to do with it. So now I have a whole box (minus 1) and none of my cats will even get close to it. Missed the deadline to return by two days.
