Good stuff (edited in parenthesis 4 years later)
Its pricey, but absolutely worth it ( 4 years later I cannot speak highly enough about this pole. It is very sturdy, which is very nice when trying to manipulate the vacuum, or put a little scrubbing pressure down at the bottom of the deep end. I have seen the reviews saying it gets "sticky", but having been a pool professional in the past, as well as I lifelong pool owner I can assure you they all do. The solution is really simple, extend it all the way and lubricate it with some wd40 once a year and actually take care of something for once. Treat this pole as an investment and it will provide you with years of service. The 3 sections of telescope are also very nice as it collapses to a shorter length than whatever garbage I would be able to buy at a local pool store. Now for the oddest part of this novel of a review...this past weekend my girlfriend was helping me open my 20x40 inground pool and she started vacuuming it. She without me pointing it out noticed the difference in quality and equally impressed when she noticed through the sun weathered stickers that it was made in America. I have never once in my life thought I would impress the ladies with my pool vacuum, but here I am🤣. Now I'm gonna go rummage through their online store and see what they have for skimmer nets and vac heads since I'm dissatisfied with other current market offerings. Treat yourself right and shop with this company)

Get rid of the internal locks and it's great.

Worth the money
1st it’s made in USA and well made. I have had it for 2 month now. I love it! Had fully extended to brush the bottom of pool and also use it with the skimmer net. It has not broke like many of the others. The only con if you can say that is to this pole is it heavier than many of the others, but the others has also all bent/broke on me.

Defective
Pole is defective. I’ve used it twice since opening my pool. It was a few weeks in between uses and the first pole section extended after wrestling with it. The last section would not budge. I tried pulling it with two people and no movement. Then I tried to close it and couldn’t close it. Both threads were loosened, but I couldn’t extend or retract. Very frustrating for $139 pole. I bought it before the summer, so I’m unable to return the product (or exchange). Not sure why I can’t slide the poles.

Solid pole, worth the cost.
I have gone through 3 poles in 6.5 years. I wish I would have spent the money on this pole after the one that came with it snapped. I thought my last pole was of good quality until the plastic locks cracked. This pole is solid with no bending when extended and the locks are heavy duty. I am totally impressed with the workmanship of this product.

Expensive but cheap in the long run.
Seems I have to buy a new pool pole every 2-3 years because I buy lower cost poles the bend and break. This pole is very sturdy even at a long extension. I have a 32ft x 38ft pool and getting to the middle area is hard on poles..
