I can’t get the foundation into the bottle, so I’m stuck! And scratching my head for a solution.
I knocked my Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation off my dresser, and fortunately the glass bottle/jar didn’t completely shatter. (What an awful mess that would’ve been, with glass bits and foundation splattered everywhere!) The jar broke right along the top, just separating the pump and lid from the rest of the foundation, which thank heavens didn’t even spill much. I put it all in a ziploc baggie and bought these pump bottles to transfer the remaining foundation into. But I can’t. The foundation is really thick, and I have no idea how to get it into this bottle. They didn’t come with a spatula or spoon or anything, but even using a makeup spatula I already had, I couldn’t get the foundation from the broken jar over to the new bottle. It doesn’t pour, and it doesn’t come off the spatula either. I stupidly tried to use my fingers to slide globs off the spatula into the bottle, but just wound up making a mess not to mention wasting lots of this expensive foundation. A strategy that just occurred to me is to try to pump the foundation from its broken jar. I think, if the pump works, I could aim it into the bottle and try to pump as much as I can, which we all know won’t be all of it. I’m *never* going to be able to get it all from the jar to the bottle, if I ever get *any* at all. A lot will be left behind or wasted in the messy process. Would I be better off leaving it in the ziploc baggie? Maybe instead of a bottle, a jar with a very wide mouth?I think this problem is more to do with the foundation than these bottles. The foundation is just too thick. If it were more fluid, I could pour it, though I’d need a funnel. I wish these bottles came with tools like a funnel; easier than having to get that separately. As I said, this is mostly a problem with the foundation, not the bottle. I can’t help but think the bottles could come with some tool to help, as well as maybe some helpful tips or instructions. I don’t want to fault the bottle too much. Maybe I can pour my Esteé Lauder Double Wear Fresh water-based liquid foundation into one of these bottles, since the Double Wear doesn’t come with a pump - they are sold separately! For TEN DOLLARS! High-end makeup is getting more and more expensive - and charging for things that usually come included. All the more reason I need to somehow salvage my Tilbury foundation. The glass bottle was lovely and felt more luxe than plastic, but glass breaks! (Also Tilbury’s is a weak bottle design; I doubt Estee Lauder’s sturdy rectangular glass bottles would break the way the Tilbury shape did.)(But let’s hope I stop knocking things over and never have to find out.)I’m rating 3 stars. Conceding that the thick foundation was a huge problem, but wishing the bottles had a way to help me get it transferred anyway. Tilbury isn’t the only thick foundation. Anyway, 3 stars is average, and these are average. I haven’t even gotten to test their pumping ability and ease of use. If or when I do, I will update this review accordingly.Any advice on what to do with my Magic Foundation would be warmly welcomed!

Works great. I use it to store my DIY vitamin ...
Works great. I use it to store my DIY vitamin C toner. I used no preservative and use it up in a month. No problem at all. So far I have used only one of the two. The only downside is that I cannot see how much of the content is left due to the opacity of the bottle. However it's necessary for vitamin C solutions, as it will deteriorate rather quickly when exposed to light. For 1 oz bottle these containers are huge. They are about the same size as some of my 3 oz travel sized containers. So far I have only refilled it once. To fill the bottle it's better to use a small funnel, as the opening is rather small. This is the first time I use an airless pump bottle and I really like it! However, buy a clear version if you do not need to keep the contents in the dark, so you can see how much is left. I ran out of mine in the middle of a trip, and I could not make another batch on the road, so I had to live without it, which is really no big deal.

Not a wide-mouthed bottle, but works great!
Works perfectly! So happy to have my moisturizers now in a sanitary airless pump and not having to go digging in a jar with my fingers. I took one star off because I was not expecting for the neck of the bottle to be so narrow. I suppose if I had studied the pictures more, I would have deduced that the pump screws onto about a half-inch neck. It's not very easy to fill with a thick cream since you can't exactly use a funnel. I had to transfer my creams to a piping bag and pipe it down into the bottle. There's a little wastage with the cream sticking to the sides of the piping bag no matter how much you squeeze, but I saved it unttil my next application. I turned the bag inside out and applied what was left.

Buy With Caution
When these initially arrived one of them had a dent in it. I did not realize until after I had already transferred the product into it. I reached out to the seller and they immediately made it right, which I was happy about. I thought these were going to be one of my favorite products since some of the foundations that I use do not have pumps; man, was I disappointed. This product has already made me lose so much money. NARS foundation is far from cheap, which is the product I transferred into this bottle. It is not too often that I leave a bad review, but at this point, I feel like people need to be warned before taking the risk and transferring expensive products into these.I noticed today while applying my foundation that it was not pumping very good so I opened it to see what the issue was. When I opened it I see that it is completely busted under the lid. It has never been dropped so there was no reason it should have broke. I am pretty disappointed because once again I lost a lot of product. Yes, I transferred the product into something else but there is a lot of product that you cannot get from it being on the inside casing of the bottle.I put several pictures so you could see how much product was wasted. I am so disappointed. I should have never gone this route.

The price breaks my heart, but these are worth it
I have purchased this set twice now, & literally my only gripe is the price. There's a reason why I still pay it, though: there's no leaking & the dispenser is reliable. The dirt-cheap ones I've purchased? I end up throwing them out because the pump essentially quits working once I'm halfway through it.I'd purchase these in bulk if the price were lower.

Work well, look nice, small opening for loading product.
These pumps work very well and look very nice. I love the fact that none of the product will be wasted. I do wish they were easier to fill. I had hoped that the opening was much wider than it actually was, it took quite a while to load and settle all the product into it. I purchased these to help guard against oxidization and contamination, but because loading the product took so long, it may have defeated my purpose.

Perfect for mixing
I have only had them a month but love it. It's perfect for blending foundations. I can never find one foundation that's the perfect shade and usually have to use a mixture of colors. This helps get that perfect mix in one bottle. It is also great for lotion. I like adding perfume to my lotion or mixing my favorite lotions.
