Very entertaining RH paranormal story
Danica is Lucifer’s daughter, and gets sent to the angel academy shortly after she turns 18. It’s a great set up and the story gets hot quickly (no slow burn here) with a gorgeous teacher, some angel bullies who are less than angelic but one of whom is intriguing, and a mystery about why angels are being taken by the fallen. A solid plot which comes to a proper ending (I hate when series books just ‘cut off’ leaving you waiting for part 2), but leaves hints of Danica’s background to be explored in future books in the series; as well as a new mystery and possibly a new man to join the group... Looking forward to book 2 and delighted to have found this book one when the series is already complete - it’s going to be hard to stop reading until I’ve got to the end!

"Celestial Academy" series book 1
Danica Deville has one chance left when she is expelled from her latest high school; attend Los Angeles Celestial Academy where college aged guardian angels are educated. For starters Danica is half human and doesn’t have wings. The big problem though is her Dad’s bad reputation. Technically he’s still an Angel, but Lucifer is King of Hell and his time spent torturing souls has always impacted on quality time with his daughter. Now Danica; aka the antichrist, is attending an Angelic College where it’s clear the faculty and students hate her. This is a reverse harem romance, and soon Danica is in relationships with 3 men; angelic tutor Tobias, created Archangel Oliver and Fallen Angel Asher. It looks like she has another man destined for her though and I’m assuming the character introduced right at the end of this book is him. Danica doesn’t display any abilities or apocalyptic powers as the daughter of Satan; instead she is initially clearly outmatched against hostile angels. She does manage to stand her ground against both her college peers and a rogue group of Fallen by the end of this book and it’s becoming increasingly certain that she is something special. A second book “Descend” is planned which I’ll keep a look out for it but as yet there is no release date.

The Devil's Daughter
Even Lucifer isn't sure how to handle a teen age daughter. His daughter punches the local bully, who is trying to force her into selling drugs, in the noce. No one actually asks why, or cares, her grades aren't very good... so she's expelled. So Lucifer enroles her in the academy for would-be guardian angels. She makes a few friends and eals wiwth being bullied. She also ends up with a male harem. Her father doesn't care about that: he shrugs and says sex is sex... so what? I got tired of the sex scenes, too many, too frequent. (Sex: great to participate, not so much fun to observe or read about.) But it was funny, with likable characters, especially Lucifer. There's a very unpleasant headmistress, who doesn't think the devil's daughter should be there... Michael sorts her... But I enjoyed this, liked the characters, and think it's an original take on the problem of Good and Evil.

Not to be missed!
This book was addictively good, I couldn't stop and then was disappointed when I got to the end, it made me me laugh and cry, I loved the idea of Danica, Lucifer's daughter being sent to the Angel's acadamy as a last chance. Of course she finds the bullies on arrival, three hot angels, and discover a nefarious plan involving the fallen. I loved that Lucifer was shown as a caring dad, while matching the description to tv series character! The narrators Patrick Zeller and Brooke Daniels were both amazing at helping to bring these characters to life,I can't wait for book 2 to be available on audiobook to find out whats next.

Surprisingly Good
Despite editorial errors in spelling and other grammar (which my brain seemed to automatically correct) this book was enticing.Danica Seville the devil's daughter was educated as a human until dumped in an Angel Academy where she was bullied. She also fell in love with three angels.Ever watched Lucifer? Then you know who Danica's dad is and what he looks like. Absolutely brilliant ending to find out her mother was Lilith the mother of vampires in some myths and demons in others, Adam's original wife. Pity I have to wait so long for book two as this story is expertly woven to keep tempting me page after page, leaving me wanting more at the end.

A different take
I really liked this book. Maya Nicole went with a very different take then most of the supernatural academy books with Danica being Lucifers daughter but having to try to get along with Angels. I connected with Danica almost instantly and found her guys all great in their own way. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone so I will just say that I would recomend this book, and I am looking forward to the next.
