Smart cubes for the masses
I'm a 35 second average CFOP solver with a PB of 26 seconds. I use full PLL (a bit slowly) and two look OLL. I did have a Gan 365i2 but unfortunately it broke so I got a refund and ordered this cheaper one instead.First thing to notice is that the cube is a lot less crunchy then the 365i2. It seems to be very well lubricated and turns very smoothly. As I said earlier, I'm not particularly fast so I couldn't compare it to the very best speed cubes, but it feels like the fastest cube I've ever used. It comes with extra springs and screws so you can customise it to your preference, but I'm finding the default set-up to be just fine. Other differences between this and the 365i2 are the non rechargeable battery and lack of a gyroscope. I did like the gyroscope on the 356i2 but the extra cost just isn't worth it.The CubeStation app has come in for some criticism and some of it is justified. However, it is improving and there are some great features. I like the weekly world wide leader board which takes the average of your best 20 solves for the week and ranks them globally. This is great for comparing times with others, and gives motivation to try and get a top 20 solve to improve your average. You can have battles with others online which doesn't really interest me so I won't comment further. There's also a section on algorithms which I did look at but it does seem a bit complicated, maybe I'll take another look at some point. The app is still a bit cluttered and because it's originally in Chinese there are bits that haven't been translated well. There is so much more they could do with the stats section and hopefully they will develop it. I'd like to see- Stats on different PLL cases and time taken on each- Breakdown of how long to solve each F2L pairs- Similar analysis of AO5, AO12 and A100 that are used in the Go Cube/Rubiks Connected App- Ability to download the data so that I can carry out my own analysis in ExcelAs is said above, they are regularly updating the app so hopefully they will start to implement some of these things. If not, I'm sure that online timers such as Cubeast will be adding compatibility in the near future. For me, the whole concept is brilliant. Not worrying about timers and pressing the spacebar every time you complete a section of CFOP is massively liberating. I can't see that I'll ever go back to doing that. The cube is great and the app is improving. Best of all, for a price of £35 this is absolutely amazing value. Hopefully the availability issues will be sorted soon - when they are, this will become the most popular smart cube on the market.

Teaches new algorithms
We weren't sure how different it would be from normal cube but it has many helpful features. Improves timing, kids learn new algorithms, compete with players Etc. also eliminates need for a separate timer. Proving to be useful.

Battery has no power
Arrived with no power. There are complicated instructions to replace the battery, but it doesn’t work out of the box

Cube is Great for me !
I am just trying to get faster at solving a cube, before purchase, my PB was 43 seconds, however after I got my first solve with this particular cube it dropped down to 38 secondsIt has smooth turning and magnetic positioning and I am very satisfied with this cube.

The cube itself is amazing already
The cube itself is great. It's my first magnetic cube and the difference is staggering. The app works well even though there are many strings still in Mandarin. But the best part is that some other apps work with it as well, like csTimer, so you are not stuck with just one.

Not quite as good as expected!
The app is partially in Chinese, so it loses a point for that as there's no English option. The parts of the app that are in English are OK, definitely needs some work done. We had issues synching the cube up. We previously had a faulty rubix cube that connected to phone and the app from that was far superior. It was difficult to solve the cube by using the app. It was a challenge to photograph, we had to enter it manually a lot and some of the time it just said there was an error and reset it! So be aware it's not as simple and easy as it automatically knowing the colour positions and telling you how to solve it but we did eventually manage to get the app to show how to solve it and we also used it to solve other cubes. Please update the app in English as that would be a huge help. Stars lost 1 due to the app issues and 1 for the cube not connecting and automatically knowing the positions of the colours like the rubix one did. This was the biggest disappointment factor in this cube. The cube itself is nice to use, turns easy and spins well. My son says it's very nice to use.

All is good, except the CR1632 battery
The battery CR1632 was already flat out. Have to buy a new one to replace it.
