I needed this to convert the port on the back of my gaming monitor so I could use a very long USB cord to hook to my PC in another room. I needed thr peripheral ports on the monitor and that port is what powers them. I couldn't find a long enough, affordable cord so this piece ended up being an even better solution.

both adapters are junk.Neither one worked, had to buy the cable.

Item was exactly as described and looks good quality. I made the mistake of needing the older 2.0 version of USB! Make certain you understand the plug you need. Item is fine and appears solid quality.I uploaded a scheme of USB ends for you to check.

Excellent ProductWorth the price

It's a USB form factor converter, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. One side is Type-A Female, the other is Type-B Male.

I can’t use this item. It seems I ordered the wrong type of printer connector. I should have ordered female USB 1.0-2.0 B. Although I purchased under Prime, it still costs just about as much for UPS to take the return back for me.
