I bought this to check the pH of my Kombucha which is a fermented tea. I tested it before during and after the fermentation process. The Color of the strips show very little difference in color and never Match the color of the chart that you were supposed to go buy. It always was between the colors on the chart and it always seem to be the same color, in my opinion they're pretty much useless. What I intend to do is to buy a electronic meter which Can be usually is a bit pricey. If you want accuracy I believe that's the way you have to go. Good luck
