This made my daughter very happy to receive as a Christmas gift...I don’t really think it’s worth the price though...comes with very minimal hair accessories but the horse itself is well built. It brought joy to my daughter so it was worth it plus it doesn’t make noise or require batteries so it has that going for it...

My 16 month old daughter loves anything horse related so I had to get her this. Right away when we opened it she loved combing it and playing with the hair, and I think she loved it so much because it’s so realistic looking. Not like a cartoon. I love that she could appreciate it now as a baby but also grow into it to learn how to care for some thing and groom it. I love the idea that she can learn how to braid hair and learn hairstyles without having to compare herself to a female form that is too often unrealistic! It’s super fun to do it on a horse that has gorgeous hair! Love this product, might buy the other colors too! Makes a great gift I think.

Due to a package that looked like it was run over by a truck, I was unable to gift this for a child's birthday. It was not until shipping was delayed and researched delivery was product labeled used. My disappointment is in AMAZON not the horse head. This package was clearly opened and attempted to be repackaged before return. I tried to tape the box but I would be too embarrassed to gift this. The toy will be going to a charity resale shop. Overall, I think this toy is great for a child interested in horses. It comes with comb and bands to braid and style the mane. BUY NEW only if a gift.

I purchased this as a gift for a 5 year old. She was so excited when she opened the box. She immediately started playing with it. I watched her for over 30 minutes brush the hair, add barrettes, etc. She made all kinds of plans for the styles she was going to do. She even told me that she was going to watch videos so she could learn to braid. Her mom told me that it has been a hit all week long and they even watched a video that Breyer has on how to braid. She loved the little styling guide that came with it and said she wants to have her mom do some of the styles on her. This was a great purchase!

The hair is extremely soft!!! The spiral hair accessories are made of a flexible rubber material so they're easy to use. It only comes with a few elastics, but of course those can be cheaply refilled. The horse head itself isnt as big as I expected it to be. Would be great if the base was able to suction cup to a table top to help hold it in place while she plays with its hair. But overall, great product.
