Cheap and works great
7.62x39mm is an usual caliber in ARs and traditional muzzle bore sights don't work well with aftermarket comensators. This bore sight was cheap and very simple to use. Just install batteries and insert into chamber. Not sure of the max range, but I was easily able to see it on a 25 yard target in broad daylight. TIP 7.62x39mm has a unique size head and will not work with 5.56, 300 Blackout, etc.

Doesn’t work
It felt cheap the moment I took it out the package. It’s pretty simple to use, place it in the chamber of the rifle you are using, and look at the laser. The laser simply did not create a dot but a red circle that was very inaccurate. After trying to fix the position of the laser it broke in my gun. The lesson I learned is that old school zeroing by shooting your rifle at a range the best way to zero. If the method ain’t broke don’t fix it.

It fit my rifle and res dot was crisp and good, bisible
Very easily sighted AK47. I had purchased a kit from laser bore costing $100+ but useless. This $9 came with 6 batteries and worked. Simply worked.
