My wife has searched high and low for a wide and deep enough windshield phone mount for me. I have an iPhone 6 and it had a case which made the phone twice as thick as the manufacturer, so it wouldn't fit most mount's found in retail. She would always try to suggest that it would fit in the mount if I took my phone out of my case, but I refused because I've had my phone for about two or three years and I've dropped it several times and every which way possible but it never got a scratch on it. I knew there had to be a good windshield mount out there that was flexible, strong, and wide/deep enough to hold my phone without taking it out of the case. I ordered this one took it out of the box put my phone with the case on it and it fit. The mount actually opens the side arms wider than my phone. I'm happy with this product but there is a few minor things I wish they would change. Overall I paid $10 or so.

I love this phone mount. It stuck easily to my windshield and I was able to place it out of the way of vents or my line of vision. I like that the arm is long enough to make placement easy for wherever you decide to stick it (in my case, I have it sideways in the lower left hand side of my window. I have a tiny car, so this was perfect and out of the way). The holder fit easily over my iPhone 6 otter box. I had ordered one of the magnetic versions that said it would hold through the otter box, but no dice. The arms squeeze in and there is an easy release button. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for something hands free for your car.Other reviews mentioned shaking and noise when the phone was not in the mount. I have not experienced any of this with mine. It works great, no complaints - love this thing!

Flexible portion is longer than necessary for an ordinary sedan, but better a little too long than too short. The suction cup has not fallen off yet, and that's with a couple of weeks of use. This item works so well that I may purchase an additional mount for each car, rather than moving this one from car to car. The instructions were not written by a native English speaker, but the hardware is very good quality, with the suction cup itself somewhat softer than my past GPS mounts, so that this adheres better, and my past windshield mounts that I've had have been fine. I chose a windshield suction cup mount because I was concerned about a mount that has to stick into my CD player slot or into my automobile vent; this mount won't damage anything and won't block air flow. Can hold an iPhone horizontally or vertically, and easily adjusts to any angle.

The first one I bought lasted less then a year. (Bought August 2016) I give that one 4 stars because it was stable and held my iPhone 6S+ pretty well. I had to trash it because the suction cup end broke at the place where it attached to the arm unit. My car is black and sits outside 24/7 so, I'm thinking maybe the plastic cannot withstand prolonged exposure to the sun.After trying to go without one for a month or so, I decided to buy another of the same. I did this in July 2017 and can say that the quality of the second is quite inferior to the first. The second one is very "bouncy" and I had a hard time getting the suction cup to stick to my window. In fact, it still falls off from time to time where the first holder had AMAZING and pretty much immediate suction.

Bought it on Aug 29, 2016 and died today, Aug 28, 2018. Wow, almost exactly two years to the day. It worked great, came off the windshield twice before (hot days) and finally today. I inspected it and the little black plastic piece that connects to the suction cup, broke. I park in a garage at work and home. Two years for this little thing, great value. I will look to see if they have ones a bit longer so I can have the phone over the AC vent (running navigation apps gets my phone real hot) so anything to help cool it, would be a plus. Anyhow, thing worked great, I am 95% sure will be buying same exact one. In fact, adding to my cart right now.

Bounced around like crazy. Not a great design. After fitting it to the window. I removed it to see if I could adjust it and stop it from being so terrible....and it fell into 3 pieces! (I could probably put it back together...but it had literally done one journey and wasn't off to a great start.) The flexible boom just fell out of both ends. I lost interest and was overcome with disappointment. If a product cannot succeed at its only purpous why should I persist! (How did this pass QC let alone the design phase...?) The next day I went to a local shop and bought one with a magnet that fits behind your phone and is easily removable and adjustable.. it cost the same. No dramas so far with that one. And easier too! Wouldnt really recommend this unless you like the idea of your phone bouncing around (Particularly distracting when using as a navigator.) and don't even think about adjusting it. Or it'll fall to bits and require more of your time to fix it! It turned up in the standard amount of time so that was nice. But alas. Sometimes walking into a shop is just a better option. Seems way too hard to return this, Considering the cheap price. I consider this a lesson. This is also the first review I've ever written, I don't usually bother, but I currently have an abundance of time... I just can believe it fell to pieces in my hand!! Lol. Thought I should share, hope it helps someone make a better decision. Cheers.

Stays on my windshield very well.Update: Do NOT leave this product on your windshield during the summer, at least not in Arizona. The suction cup stayed strong, but the sun melted the plastic part attached to it. This made my phone extremely wobbly and distracting to the point where I had to throw it away. Will be ordering a new one and taking it off the windshield on hot days.

I like the car mount overall. The only drawback is because of the longer neck, it vibrates more than it should. I had to position the bottom of the mount to align with the dashboard and provide support to make it vibrate less while driving. A shorter length might have helped with less vibration but you loose the adjustability.
