Within days of purchase and using it, it was not working properly. The torch just randomly shuts off, but continuing to release the butane, so you have to constantly stop, wait for any released butane in the air to dissipate, then light the torch again, only for it to continue to shut off after a very short period time. It was essentially useless. Waste of time and money. I ended up finding something much better

I repair band instruments for a living, and this torch gets used on a daily basis. This is my second Solder-It PH-200 torch. The first one lasted me 10 years of daily use. Yes, it's a little spendy compared to the 'cheap torches' all over the internet and in box stores, but the seals in the Solder-It torches last a LONG time so they don't start leaking butane gas after 2 weeks, unlike every cheap torch I've used in the past. I was using torches from the big 'mart of wall', from a brand that sounds like "burns-o-matic', going through them in 3 weeks because the seals would give up the ghost in that time frame under heavy use. Not the Solder-it, these are well-made tools. Spend a little more and get this one, you won't be disappointed.

Do not purchase. I bought and used 5 times…45 days after purchase and it won’t ignite. The twist-push mechanism is not a good design and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this product!!!

Wish the flame was a little larger

Unfortunately I purchased one to smoke my daps and it doesn't get the stem hot enough to be any good.
